I’m watching this video on 5/20/2024. Thank you for making the podcasts. My husband is in the process of being evaluated for Parkinson’s. He has seen a neurologist and a motion disorder specialist. He is not on any medication. I am seeing cognitive issues already. He can’t seem to find the words he needs say. He is also cold all the time! Can you please address these issues in a podcast some time? Thank you.
Soooooo very helpful guys. Brian’s humor was sharp as a tack and a great tension breaker. Jess your questions were very on point. Dr. Patel is always an informative joy. You are so welcome in our lives and your program length is perfect, perfect, perfect
More great info from dr Patel!! I’ve been wondering if there is any info on how Covid affects PD? My PD symptoms became readily apparent to me after having Covid and my doctor it likely played a role in accelerating my symptoms.
Ooh that’s a good point! I know someone from an Australian news segment that said she got PD from covid inexplicably! And my one symptom of PD just constipation I think) has now blown up into like 35+ symptoms of PD after having covid, so I think you’re onto something there. I think I developed constipation after covid, but I can’t even remember as I didn’t note it down as I didn’t know it was a sign of PD. But it feels like my symptoms have been accelerating over this year which was when I think I had my first symptom.
What do you do when your adult children have nothing to do with you. And iim concerned if my husband ever gets sick, how will i take care of him ifi cant care for myself.
