I love how in the Bigfoot Ford commercial, you can look right through the wheel well of the Chevy and see that it's got no engine in it. Best view at 8:20. lol
I love the Bigfoot Ford spot. "What will cars be like in the future" cars look like cough drop and everyone drives a hummer even though you're going just get milk and not invading the reds.
Hands down, my fav channel on RU-vid😘 This channel brings me JOY!!! ...Can't stop smiling as I go from. commercial to commercial. This channel generously feeds my obsessed appetite for the 80's as it was my best/fav decade!!! 🙌
Certs ad-Rebecca Ferratti(model/Playboy playmate) is the woman w/ shades on at the beginning Ragu-i preferred Prego back then actually.. Pop Secret-Richie Valens's ghost collecting royalties lol The TV edit of Ghostbusters couldnt possibly top the one for The Big Lebowski(This is what happens when you FIND A STRANGER IN THE ALPS!!! XD ) GMA promo during the Ghostbusters credits-"we'll see what life is like in the year 2000.." if only they knew lol
The concept of flying cars sounds really neat as a kid, but the practicalities of them are not feasible (besides the impossible physics involved with making a vehicle fly or hover without wings or propellers). Imagine how devastating a single accident involving one would be, not only to other drivers but to people and buildings below. Autonomous cars are the future. I would actually predict that driving a car yourself will not be allowed in 50 years and that the concept of everyone owning a vehicle will go away in time.
I think most people enjoy that independence, and maybe the American idealization of the automobile/open road will prevent autonomous vehicles from becoming the norm...at least for a while. But the logical thing to do from a safety standpoint would be to remove human error from the equation entirely and have everything controlled by a centralized transportation grid. It's bound to happen eventually.
