ABC’s “That Special Feeling” promo had me laughing out loud. But i couldn’t help being charmed by the cheesiness. It was delightful and i definitely miss it.

Meredith_Vintage is doing some awesome work. I found more of their videos thanks to all the WABC uploads here, their channel has even more New York stuff, I'm subscribed and I loved them all!!!! But in the words of Oddity Archive, "Is every sale Crazy Eddie has the greatest ever?"

Johnson &Johnson Child Development Toys- I never knew the Johnson & Johnson company made toys in addition to their other products (Baby Shampoo, etc.). That toy sure looks fun for a kid to play with. Also, I like how it took very little lung power from that kid to blow out the candle on the cake with the chocolate frosting on it in the beginning of the commercial. I sure could go for a piece of that cake.

That Special Feeling commercial...Remove the soft, mellow music and replace it with something suspenseful, and most of that ad could be a horror film where a slasher is waiting in the shadows for that nurse...

Noticed that the "Special Feeling" ads could easily have been mistaken for other advertisements (last week had an upload involving guys gathering to watch Monday Night Football that could - without the jingle - easily have been passed off as a beer commercial)

I saw BB King live in 1993 at the Orpheum in Vancouver. It remains in the top 3 live shows I've ever seen. Would've loved to see that interview on One on One!

The brand was around for decades before the AIDS virus was a thing. The virus had not even been named AIDS until late '82.

6:08 Card Sharks this morning at 10:30am, i thought reruns of the show still was on nbc daytime, so wabc-tv aired card sharks on abc affiliate station
