Yes: www.imdb.com/title/tt0638744/ He likely had a contract with ABC at the time. He was in the short lived ABC series "Sidekicks" that ran from 1986-87. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sidekicks_(TV_series)
Duracell- Watching those toy pilots fly those planes throughout this commercial makes the experience more fun, I believe. Nabisco Shredded Wheat- Seeing the people fall through the floor in this commercial reminds me of a scene in “ Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory “ where Veruca Salt falls down the garbage chute. Partnership For A Drug Free America PSA- I get a lot of scary vibes watching this PSA. I can see it being a scene in a horror movie.

Duracell: Nothing says "competitive streak" like comparing your current batteries with your 3-year-old batteries. Rolaids: Also has Marv Albert on the voiceover
Nobody today remembers the original as they do the reboot with Matt Damon. And yet it goes from having an "identiy" to being a "legacy" and then achieving an "ultimatum". Same with Cape Fear 1989 vs Cape Fear 1991(with Nick Nolte) or the original Hannibal movie that was out way before Silence of The Lambs, Hannibal, Red Dragon, and that origin movie.
Cape Fear 1989? The original movie was made in 1962 with Gregory Peck and Robert Mitchum. I would argue that the original is what most people think of when discussing that movie. The original movie to feature Hannibal Lecter was Michael Mann's "Manhunter" from 1986, which was based on the book "Red Dragon".
LOL on #1. Nowadays (aside from the Babe connection) James Cromwell is known for being vegan and had been a vegetarian for over a decade at the point that this commercial would have been filmed. Definitely proves that as a working actor you'll sometimes have to just suck it up and book the roles! :D
It's funny with these 80s prestige dramas like China Beach, Dallas, or 30 something, you never see boomers revisit those shows, instead I usually see my parents re-watch stuff from when they were kids like Bewitched or Andy Griffith
China Beach and Thirtysomething were critical darlings at the time but really didn't set the ratings on fire. A show like Dallas was basically a soap opera with a lot of cliffhangers that doesn't really hold up on repeat viewing once you know what will happen. My parents are boomers (born in 1952) and seem to gravitate towards things from their youth from the 60's and 70's rather than shows from the 80's when they were adults.
When it comes to the Acura Integra commercial, it's interesting to note that at the time of airing in 1988, Formula 1 hadn't held a race called the "United States Grand Prix" since 1980. At that time, they were running the Detroit Grand Prix, but not the United States Grand Prix.
One day everyone will be able to replace Brigitte Nielsen in "Cobra" with Barbara Walters by just a simple click of a button...thus achieving cinematic perfection.
