@@spaghettisauce44570's best decade for rock in my opinion, 80's for guitar playing and mastery. Every popular band had a shredder or someone interesting on the guitar
As my cousin said, and he was a lead guitarist for a very popular rock act “Anyone who wants to can learn to play fast solos. But being able to play something melodic and rich is a gift”.
@@FULLTILTSWIFFwell what do you since you said it has no soul? How can you determine how much soul is in something being played? Don’t be a obvious narcissist
EVH, Malmsteen, and RR, you say? To me this solo felt unmistakably George Lynch. Nailed that melodic hard rock feel. Great sweep and vibrato at the end there!
Those blues pentatonics are so spot on it's funny. I was just messing around doing my 80s thing im 59 and I was doing a few variations of that riff. I like the ascending thing on the low strings. classic spot on 80s dude.
I am so glad I am old enough to remember all of the Guitar Gods from the late 70's to early 90's. Today's generation will NEVER understand what a glorious time it was back in those days. We will never see or hear the same shredding and players like we had back in that generation ever again.
