Before I start making videos modifying this thing, I thought I'd give you all a bit of a rundown on where the car is currently at and what it currently has! / thrillonwheels / thrillsonwheels Like & subscribe for more :)
Good one mate. 👍 I do find tinkering with my 80's setup satisfying. And I find, it's a forever evolving process. It never ends. I've had my 80 for 5yrs now, and I reckon, I've have changed one aspect of its setup or another each year. But it's what you have to do to make it really suitable for your needs.
Yeah definitely, it just evolves and evolves until it turns into something that fits your needs perfectly! Plenty more to come on this thing that's for sure haha
Looking at going to 315 (35"). What kind of RPM does it sit at around 110 and how does the auto handle it? I'm concerned about hunting for gears and missing out on that sweet boost and fantastic top end of the FT. Thanks for the rig rundown
Cheers mate appreciate it! 22 years, wow you’ve had that rig for a while haha Gusseting the wing tubes is actually a pretty great idea! Maybe I’ll look into that we’ll see
Hard to make a video on that one I think. Flick me a message on Instagram or something and I can run you through where I installed each of the sensors. It wasn’t too hard :)
Love the vid! Super Nice Clean rig! I have the same model and yr. Like to see the mod under the hood, upgrade turbo etc. what kind exhaust is it? Thanks for showing!
