You are right! I loved the comment you posted. The advice, then, is to ask questions to others and Google less if you want to know how something is done. We all need to feel important and useful, so let's reach out and talk to a stranger. It will help all of society much more than holing up on a computer. This is what i see is the real reason why so many are depressed and isolated. A lack of being out in public and having a good conversation with another brings one into loneliness. After all, animals are a social species and need to have ample time in a quiet, noise free environment: the park, ocean, mountains, rivers, etc... That hit me too. I had pretty good artwork and writing skills before I really started using the computer and phone daily. It was only like 15 years ago I'd go an entire day without technology. You were called addicted/a loser if you used it for more than a few hours a day.
Wow, so beautiful and she is right the 1960s England London was incredible I was born in the 60s but I had just enough memory of that time and pictures and magazines and books and records in the wish I had lived there. Incredible.
I love these two beautiful women. I wish them all the love and happiness in the time they have left. Its so great to see and hear people enjoying life and living it. Most people today dont live their lives, they watch their lives play out instead of living it, and those people become hateful to others and will try to hurt others just so they can feel better about themselves and where they are at life. Its also very cringe to see it on social media. Strangers going out of their way, wasting time that they can never gret back, insulting and threatening strangers, because if they arent happy in life, no one should be, and they will waste as much time as possible JUST to feel like they accomplished something. With the energy and time they put into being hateful, they could be making their life do much better, yet they choose to make the idiotic decision to waste time and waste energy that does nothing for them. An ebarrassing and sad example of whats to come for these hateful people: Friend: "Hey buddy! long time no see! I've gotten my masters degree in computstional science, met a person, started a family, bought a house. What have you been up to these past 15 years?" Hateful friend: "Oh uh...well..ive been on social medias for the past 15 years telling people to off themsleves and trying to mentally hurt strangers...so..yeah..still live with my parents in my old room from when i was a teenager, so things have been going great." I know it might be hard to ignore these people, but if you feel you wanna be hateful back, dont. If you do reply to them, be reapectful and ask them why the hate and negativity? Ask them if things at home are going okay. Ask them if they have some trauma that they arent dealing with and maybe thats why they are taking it out on you. But the best thing to do is to ignore these hate messages. You arent wasting time, but they are, and that in and of itself, is SO rewarding. Be safe, be kind. Life is short. 💋💜✌️🤝✨️

I'm not of that era, but I've read about it. I assume you two women lived it!! You both look great for your age. I think it's attitude. I'm very grateful for the internet and phones. I've been struggling with mental illness since I was a child and also have a chronic illness. Looking up and searching for my illnesses and connecting with other people who have similar struggles has really helped me a lot. I also found a doctor that could finally help me with my quite rare chronic illness. I would've suffered a lot in the 60s...
yeah it is a positive in many ways. anyway these elderly people are being narrow minded lol their like yeh well we would do what we have done and do more of it... During their/my time people were protesting the beginnings of the actions of those hidden ruthless greedy powers who started destroying the world, the planet and the peace of humanity at a more increased and noticable rate. Those hidden powers, they did not know existed. Those hidden powers who ramped up the pretence of caring, the outright lies and the destruction of the rise of brotherly and sisterly love intended to end racism, sexism and war and the political manufacture of false enemies needed to be destroyed in wars to create profit for THEM. They needed to destroy the natural environment, that sustains us all, to supposedly keep people employed and fed. They also kept up the falsehood that petrochemicals and plastics were the best thing since sliced bread and that bread and other foods were better with healthy (when they were actually toxic) additives. People of this earlier generation were the most educated in real world subjects by teachers who wanted to enlighten them rather than just shovel the pap of old historical dates of kings and queens and of other leaders of war to impose patriotism and divisive fears. Those same hidden powers are at work still and they are using the youthful members of their cabala today to help them in their deceit. Back then, first they had their youthful followers be destructive radical elements within the protest groups to turn public opinion against these genuine protestors of the 60'sand 70's. They were also used as spies reporting back to the powers. The mocking of the protesters as being "yippee hippies," and as just a small bunch of unhinged, soppy "ltree huggers" protesting for the " rights for whales" diverting public attention away from them also protesting rights for all races and rights for all women as well. You'll notice a lot of divisive, even aggressive groups today protesting, online, supported and encouraged by armies of trolls ( who are these hidden troll people anyway and are they commenting repeatedly with different profiles to make themselves seem like a bigger group of individuals in agreement with a small beligerent division of society?) to believe that these, once widely supported, groups now have too many rights. When youth protested in those two decades they were naive and thought they had to educate the (ignorant) government members of their mistaken beliefs, they did not realise it was all manipulation and they did not see the next step of manipulation which was manufactured to calm them down and make them believe they had achieved cooperation from the darker government powers who made all sorts of false plans to subdue the protestors. Using other young people of up and coming power positions to convince them, for example, that new government projects were protecting the natural environment, with false advertising while the destruction continued in more secret places with more secret methods. This applied to every protested subject. Just as today the eco vehicles are being discovered to be still, and even more, polluting. The petrol chemical corporations are ramping up even more plastic insertions into vital consumer products making people have to buy it all under protest while the petro chemical corporations advertise how they really, really care about the planet and the world and are doing everything to cut back. Who are the real estate property developers these days who make it impossible to own homes and pay rents? The ruthlessly ambitious , bought young guns of course. They made it impossible to buy a grandma's ( needing to go into an expensive nursing home) old fashioned beloved house on a lovely garden block, because a huge development Corp can now outbid any average or even richer person, knock it down and put up luxury apartments to be rented out to high earners. This did not happen until the 2000's hit. Also the 2000's was when lovely homey affordable and fully staffed nursing homes were demolished to make way for multicorporation owned understaffed towers of expensive lonely motel like rooms with unanswered urgent call bells ringing at night. The same horror story of childcare towers with children pressed in like cattle with no permanent shift working teaching or carer/ come cleaning staff, with whom they can form trust. All taught from the earliest age by the state and not through parental consensus. They started off with low fees to undercut the smaller, more homely child care centres then upped their fees to being unaffordable for most, after either buying out the smaller centres or attracting their customers away while they were first, less crowded and much cheaper, the wait for higher future fees made possible by corp financial backing to tide them over. The people today are in chaotic crisis because the powers that hid back then in the 60's and 70's and were being outed, are confident they can show their true murky colours now because their destruction of society is now self feeding with the modern hamstrung, mass consumer society now, that has forgotten how to live more naturally. Not blaming modern generations, it's the beast in the petro chemical plastic toxic machine and also the " You can have every shiny thing you desire." attitude fed into the culture of the " Greed Is Good " 80's era. Then the 90's " Don't be a burden on your kids. Sell your home and retire into an over 50's residential independent living apartment with residential aged care home and nursing home with dementia and pallitive end of life care available. Your kids will thank you for it." Multi corporates/politicians, so many see how they work now, in hindsight. It only takes two generations to manipulate a society into forgetting the cultural lifestyle benefits they had previously accepted as remaining permanently, unless improved upon. That is done through distraction, diversion and division so that the blame for discontent is directed to various groups within society rather than towards those who manipulated it. For example the ..".All this trouble started with the elderly generation and their ignorant prejudices and stick in the mud, greedy lifestyles destroying the planet and our world." seeded lie. There is hope yet as the brand new generations are showing signs of not accepting this shovelled, boring, sheer bulls##t that makes them gag in schools now. Also rejecting the totally uninspiring nonsense of the struggle street lifetime layed out before them as the only future available to them now. They're opting out to dream up a better more inspiring world that has more senssible, co-operative, fun friendly networking, and is not driven by competitive back stabbing of others. The only people who would accept the world as it is now would be people who were slowly and surely acclimatised to it, enmasse, world wide and who would accept any kind of good new ideas and so, relief from it now. So the answer is don't try to funnel the new generation down the same underpaid, overworked, government info gathering, cattle trap runs, that the rest of us had to suffer.

Such lovely advice. I think the world would be a better place without social media. I’d love to go back to the late seventies, eighties or nineties. Being A teen in the nineties was such a fun and free time. In a lot of ways reminded me of the sixties and seventies. Especially for fashion lol.

Yes, all the young people with zero responsibilities who were high on drugs back in the sixties really love those memories. Add the hugely adverse effects of social media, which most of them do not use well or understand, and of course they’re going to prefer the old days!
