I’m 33 and reading some comments, I realize that everywhere in the world there are people going through difficult times, and it makes me value what I have, no matter how much or little, there are people who are really in a difficult situation.

Going to leave this here as a reminder for myself. Whenever this gets a like I will get reminded. Sometimes I wonder why God makes me wait. I know his plan is perfect. I know God has me waiting for a reason. It feels like I've been in isolation for a long period now. I'm about to get back into doing what I love. I know God will always be with me. I’m 51 and starting all over again. 26 years old. Tried to graduate Mechanical Eng., failed that. Moved to computer science, not very hopeful of that either. Life begins to become heavier every second. Thanks for this video. I'm 27 and I've felt stuck now for awhile. No degree, no money, nothing saved. I've been living abroad for several years teaching English, something i never really even wanted to do, something that just happened of necessity. It doesn't pay well either, now I am moving back, Seattle specifically, with nothing to support my wife and not really much experience in anything worth while and I want to change careers too. As you get older, you do realise that so many things you worried about don't matter. You also learn to appreciate the things that DO matter. Thankfully, those things are yours for the taking, and are earned with discipline, mindfulness and love - not money, popularity, or possessions.

I´m 26, got married 4 years ago.. I have a 2 years old daughter, I have a college degree, I have an awesome remote job that pays well enough and let me stay at home and have more time with my family, I drive a nice car but 3 years ago I remember that I was not making enough for me and my wife... I remember telling her on a 14th February when I had no money to give her any gift because I was getting paid the next day that better times would come, we had been married for months and things didn´t get better. Some days I wanted to give up and quit what I was doing but my wife encouraged me, now I can say that better times did came I feel stress free living my life to the fullest.

Might sound kind of cheesy, but I really needed to hear this today. I'm a young woman in my mid-twenties, and I'm only just now realizing that I'm not a failure because I don't have everything together. The last two years were so full of problems and stress, and in the last few months, I was completely broke and had to move across the country to a new job with only my sister helping, which up to then was one of the hardest problems I had encountered. I was terrified of driving big vehicles, almost to the point of anxiety attacks, but the only option I had was a U-haul, so I steeled myself up, said a prayer, and made it happen. And it turned out fine and I'm not as afraid of moving anymore. I tried to take those months of crisis, depression, and paycheck-to-paycheck one day at a time, and the good Lord helped out and everything ended up fine; now my job is going well, I'm ahead on bills, I've paid one of my debts off already, and I'm on the way to finish paying off the last two in less than a year. Sometimes things go up and down but the most important thing I've learned is that pain is inevitable and suffering is optional. When you face the pain and inconvenience and pointless difficulties in life head on and treat them more as learning and humbling experiences, you get a lot more out of it and aren't so afraid anymore.

When I finally figured out I can only change myself and focused on being a better person, things got easier. I'm 64 and have realized it takes a lifetime and that's the natural order of things. Peace of mind is what's really important.

Got diagnosed with a rare brain tumor, vestibular schwannoma at 26. Turned 27 and had surgery a week later. I graduated college with my computer network engineering degree right before my surgery. I’m 28 now. Been in recovery since July 2021 when I had the surgery. Lots of therapies and moments of weakness with feelings of hopelessness as I learned to maneuver my new norm of the loss of balance, chronic dizziness, migraines, hearing lost on surgery side, memory issues, severe dry eye.. this video brought me a great amount of peace, and I want to thank you personally for putting this video out there to others. It was very introspective and helped put my life more into perspective. Take care!

Now I’m a project manager of world leading construction projects with 3 children a small business and about to obtain my degree this year. I had an old teacher a good while back. Machinist, in his 50's, big calm guy that knew life well enough to not want to tame it. When i was at 17 years of age, he told me this: _"I don't yet know what i want to be when i grow up, but for now, i'm content doing what i am."_ Like Johnny Cash's 'Hurt', that carries a different meaning coming from an old man. I'm 26 now, and to this day those words influence me. Because the older i get, the more i think of those words, and the more i take them to heart. I've made mistakes. Really, really big mistakes that may haunt me for the rest of my life. I've yet to figure that out. There's demons i'm battling on a daily basis. And the monster has made it a hard, rotting life for me. You'd never know talking to me, because i make a great effort to ensure that monster doesn't ever show his face when others are around. But it's still there, in the background of every shot, every scene... waiting, whispering. It's something that i need to learn to live with. One way or another. But despite that, i'm growing more content being where i am, because i know that it's not where i'm going to be tomorrow. Because tomorrow, i'll be either further up the hill, or further down it. But i know that my day at this little outcrop halfway up the mountain is the only day i'll see it. Who knows what tomorrow might bring? Might as well appreciate today. For the gifts that make it good, and the pain that makes tomorrow better. I'm not proud of the things i've done. I regret a great many of those things. But the one thing i don't ever want to regret, is not finding out if tomorrow's one of those things too. No better way to end on a low note than to give up at the lowest note. I’m now 27 and my life hasn’t changed since I was 23. Not married, no relationship, no kids, I moved back in with my parents. I went back to college and got a 2nd BA degree because my GPA was so low I couldn’t get into a Masters program. I got my dream job worked it 5 weeks and quit because my boss was verbally abusing me on the daily. Now I’m working at an elementary school and learned the importance we leave on people’s lives. “They may be a little part of your life, but you are a big part of theirs.” Knowing that has brought me more happiness than anything else. Find what makes you happy and focus on that, the rest will come in due time.
