it's so satisfying to see someone understand that character on a higher level immediately. I've seen streamers play the character for hours and not realize or utilize the shorter drill cooldown under surface. This seems like a good rule of thumb combo. Super excited to see rollouts and setups in the future! I can imagine setting up on a sneaky highground to burrow from can be really cool

Love it they make characters like this, which are best using their various abilities in different combinations depending on the fight to get kills.

This is the first Venture gameplay I've seen that actually taps into their potential. This is very swag

0:59 - I think they'll change that tunnelling ability so that you can't contest if you're underground. Same way Sombra can't cap when invisible.

Venture felt so good and has so much potential so i was expecting some player ( and some otp) to start maining the character really fast but oh boy, i didn't expect Arrge from all people to fell in love too.

Venture feels like a return to overwatch 1 doomfist in a way, insane mobility and ability based combos combined with an invincibility granting ability to nope out of sticky situations

What I think is most impressive about this for myself… is that I figured out most of these techs on my own, including the spawn rollout. I’m just happy I’m able to do that now.

I haven’t had this much fun on a new character since Ram, Venture is definitely moving up my ranks, they’re just enjoyable to play

Venture is mei and doom combined. this is if mei had the movement ability's doom had while being able to stal as long as mei.

Is the spawn rollout slightly faster if you wait for the end of burrow, charge launch out, and drill dash in the air? The extra time in the air preserves your momentum from the dash, so I feel like it might be faster.

After Argge playing hanzo in season 9 Playing playing a chacter like this must feel like heaven. like another game, the fun must be unmeasurable.

Venture is super fun but has the potential to be even better if the burrow does damage if you do it on top of an enemy and just a little speed increase for the ability in general

Honestly, the ult charge is what I’m terrified the most of. In some clips you managed to get up to 83 in about 30sec just by using two abilities while being nearly untouched underground

Your drill guy gameplay reminds me of that red thing in stage 5 of contra hard corps for the sega genesis

A good tip I figured out is that if you need to get away you can drill up at just the right angle so you move the furthest and make yourself hardest to hit and still be high enough that you can burrow on impact

Being underground shouldn't count as caping

I love heroes whose skill expression is not just pure aiming ability

Character seems insane, able to gain shields by just using the abilities while being invulnerable most of the duration, has pretty ez escape options, has the potential to nearly end game any character with its increase melee passive too while able to displace/stagger opponents pretty decently. I don't really see the tracer comp that much, probably closer to genji with her dash being able to give her vertical mobilty while also doing dmg, but i'd say if a doom and hamster wanted to create a dps child it be venture

When you go underground and drill instantly you can wait until you're underground hits zero and then charge your pop up attack to have your drill completely off CD because the charge attack extends your time underground

They really look like how an Earthbender would feel like in a shooter A lot of patience, right placements and just "playing" with the enemy team by annoying them

Personally think venture is the First fun hero they have released since kiriko, played venture for a few hours and like you say in the video they just feel so cool to play. Think they could Maybe use some small tweaks before they release, but honestly wouldn’t be sad if they didn’t get touched for release.

i just noticed that drill dashing while burrowing is only 4 seconds when normally when you drill dash its 8 seconds

Venture is honestly such a fun hero to play, yet so infuriating to play against when she's zooming around xD

I really feel like you should be able to wall climb with the dig, feels weird that you can't do it, and i think it would make sense for the kit too since it's extra movement options and gives you more opportunities to use that leap you get when going off an edge during dig

I'm main support, silver 3, and I had so much fun playing venture and DPS , this character has many mechanics , mid-mele range you can be hella aggressive or you can play a little reserved and both works well is a little hard to get used to but once you don't mess the cool downs you would play with a big smile . Something I notice I don't have big aim (that's why I'm silver) and I still manage to get some kills (usually between 15 and 20) so I think in my perspective is a little OP not like Mauga released OP But maybe blizzard will tweak a little before official release
