I saw this car at The Shop CT. They now have the fastest 240 in the world. This car had $60,000 in mods when I saw it. Owner of the shop said it was completely nuts
Bro it’s fulllyy built pushing more than 700whp you need some welds or at least some Toyo r888r cause those ain’t gonna hook even on a 100 roll 😂 sick build tho
they hook believe it or not but yes could be better, thinking of going with nitto nt555r2 in the back. a lot of people jump to drag radials before they even need it tbh. i'm awd by the way
This engine is known for crazy oil blowby, even at stock boost levels. S58 seems to be a far better engine. All those mods won't be worth anything when you sell and likely reduce the value. I'm so over throwing my money in a trash can like that. Just get a ZL1 if you want 800 rwhp reliably (of course there is nowhere to actually use it but a drag strip)
This dude put so much money in this thing. Lord. That’s excessive. I have a stage 2 328i f30 pushing 370hp but it was worth the build for me to keep the car as a daily. It’s phenomenal on gas. This man literally put 30,000 in a b58 for 800 whp… personally I don’t think the f30 is worth all that. I’m going to be skipping the six cylinder completely and opting for the m550i n63 3rd technical update. Going to do a simple 93 stage 2 and fbo build. With evolution raceworks cooling system. That car is stock 550 hp. Hell cat killer. From the factory. After a stage 2… it’s killing anything. Other than a m5 with the same mods. Wich essentially runs the same engine. With minor differences. I mean I hate to be that guy. Because all bmw owners hate that guy. But if there was ever a guy who should have just bought a m3… it’s this guy. I mean the billsteins are like 5-7 grand. Like that was enough. And let’s hope he actually did his own labor. We know he didn’t build the engine itself. So it’s highly unlikely he even did the swap himself. And judging from the fact he works a corporate job…. I’m willing to bet he paid someone else to install All this. I mean I’m a submariner. And I wouldn’t want to do all that shit to anything myself. So you essentially have to buy all the mods and then double the price of that. Meaning this man spent like 60,000 in mods. On a 340 with a gen 1 b58…. Wtf am I the only one with the suspicious face right now. For 800 wheel. That’s in no way worth it. Unless he just loves the f30 wich I always thought was worse than the e90 but just far more reliable to daily. But then again. I’m a 911 guy. So I’m not entirely obsessed with bmw. I simply drive them because they are cheaper and easier to maintain than Porsche specifically a 911. I came from a cayman s and the 996/911. Practicality is needed in a daily. Wich manual 911s are not practical to daily. Especially in the elements. The bmw f30 serves its purpose as a commuter. Not an ideal race car. It will always suffer compared to other alternatives in that department. Mainly handling or making practical use of all that power on the road not just the dyno. Sheesh. It’s too light. He can’t put 800 hp down on the road and survive in any 3 series. (Even the m3) That’s cap. And simply for bragging rights. You need the heavier 5 series to actually use that power. Put 800 hp down in that car and he’s gonna end up like ken miles. Because that little fake spoiler… doesn’t do sht. Porsche has self deploying spoilers that auto deploy at 75 mph specifically the 911 putting 300 lbs of downforce on the rear end. Of a rear engine vehicle to keep from going airborne at terminal speed. This little f30. Not capable of using that power. This man is mental. And did this shit just for the fk of doing it. I call cap. Put it down on the track and let’s see if you got the skill to live .
