Fun fact: driveline losses are calculated at a fixed amount rather than percentage. So say a stock m240 is 390hp and loses 15% that makes it rough 330whp the loss is 60hp and that is a fixed amount so if you dyno at 1000hp you’re making 1060hp. The driveline losses in modern cars is ridiculous low these days. Hope that clears up some internet confusion

@behindthebuild8016 I’d say loss is 10% of stock on modern cars rule of 15 went out the window long ago. That’s why these beamers kill it they put more power to the ground. I don’t agree with loss up top. Trans losses whatever powers going down that’s normal drivetrain. Doesn’t cap sorry bruh.

@@SeeFlow-bo1dl what are you talking about? since when does GTR run 2JZ? and how much money does it cost to get GT-R to 1500HP level of power? (including price of the car).. B58s are in F30 340i, or M140i F20, which are pretty affordable, and there is quite a lot of them, and for very little money you can make stupid amounts of power. that was my point. also, S58 is more like 5 year old platform now, it came in 2019 with X3M. and yes, S58 is probably even higher level, but not even close with the affordability/initial investment of getting into that platform.
