The blow off valve sound is a combination of turbo flutter and a blow off valve, you first hear the turbo flutter then a short delay before the blow off valve opens.
@tx5brent Unless your car is pushing 28psi or more this blowoff valve won't open for your car, the spring is too tight to be unseated at any less, and I'm sure this r34 is 30+ so the spring setting in this car would be tighter than the min setting.
If I am not much mistaken that is a big rs from greddy. Again don't hold me on it but seeing they have a greddy turbo and intercooler I would imagine it would have a greddy bov.

It's a massive bov built for high boost, check out the other insane power gtr or supras. Just their characteristic sound. No bov is not the same thing. 28-30psi of boost with no pressure relief is a bad idea man. I would get on that if I were you.
@ztunelover My car is at 20 psi at the moment and I do have plans for more boost one day, can you give me a bit more info on this bov pleas. Thanks for the response
