Lovely design, feels open and cozy, love the wrap around deck for great outside space. Being a book lover the living room with the fireplace is so inviting especially on a rainy day.
Jasper, that is a beautiful house. The only thing that I would change is put the bathroom between the bedrooms or put a door into the bedroom to the bathroom. The one bedroom is far from the bathroom. Who wants to walk up the hall wrapped in a towel?
Why do they put the opening doors to the refrigerator facing the wrong way? I like that you almost always have bookcases. Thank you. No place for hanging coats and a place for boots by the front door.❤
Good afternoon Mr Tran I see you have been keeping yourself busy. That’s good because I watch other people’s designs and nobody is as creative and thoughtful as yours. I’ve be3n trying to find something I would change on this one can just can’t find anything. I love your use of outside decks/patios very diverse, creative and useable areas. If you have company that stays awhile, there are places you can go to get away from one another once in awhile. That’s a good thing especially if you are not used to having company. Good job Mr Tran!😊
I love the decor both inside and out (feels like your own design sensibility, which I love) and I adore the porches! I really like how the back entry bathroom and laundry can function as a kind of mudroom. Suggestions: 1) I understand it is always a balancing act of how many features to put into a house vs. keeping the size in check. In this case, I think making the house just a little bit bigger would be justified, to ease traffic in the front and back entryways and in the kitchen, and to accomodate some changes to one of the bedrooms, which brings me to . . 2) In the walk through, as the door was opening to the larger bedroom I was thinking "This bedroom will have its own bath, right?" but no, it did not. I think it could have a small en-suite bathroom with a shower. I'm imagining the en-suite in the back, and put a built-in closet in the wall between the bedrooms, but it could be the other way around. Overall a charming home and I would be thrilled to live in it.
You know how much I love your designs. Just wondering if you could make some with less bookshelves so more space for furniture in living room and a basement. I love a good basement. Would love to see what your design would be.💓💓
@@v.r.2834 , wow! Uncalled for. Have you heard of computers, Kindle?? Others may like their books in bedroom or a reading room. May want more seating room for guest. Rude...

The faucets in the main bathroom are awful. Like the ones I grew up with and finally they came up with both the hot and cold water came out of one spigot.
Some of this is nice, some is very poor indeed. Start with the bedrooms and bathroom. People in the bedrooms have to walk through the living room to use the bathroom. Not the nicest thing. Then there is the kitchen. I do wish designers would stop putting fixed dining counter in. The people on the kitchen side of the seating area are in the Cook's way, making it harder to serve a nice meal.
