If you don’t have the same tune as what he is running you will see different speeds as the timing and fueling is different also could have a lower rpm limiter also if you don’t have a impeller that’s also going to be something Next is how much do you weigh?

There is a special tools that you can use they’re not expensive and you can do it yourself and I also recommend to get the cam and crank locking tools

All right last comment. Sorry. I really want to do the 215 to 260 upgrade I see about 4 different company’s out there that offer all different configurations to make that happen. I would love to speak to you about it. I live in New York so I have probably about another month of riding maybe 2 tops. Then it’s time to pull the motor. Would that be ok to give you a call and go over some things when my Season ends. No that it not normal. It could be many things… it could be the bearing where the driveshaft goes into the motor.. it could be the oil rings in the oil cooler…it could be the valve cover gasket… it could be any of the sensors or plugs… it could be a lot of things🤷‍♂️
