@@RetroRecipes Last night, BBC showed a Top Of The Pops Christmas Special from 1984 (the year I joined secondary school). You would have loved seeing it... Howard Jones, Durann Durann, Spandau Ballet, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Nik Kershaw, Culture Club... ah sure, the list goes on Happy Christmas.

Attention Mister Retro: I may have accidentally spotted the mobile crane used in "Duel" in an unrelated film. How long did it take to render this?

Good question. Final Cut kept crashing with the 10 hour version, but finally made it through with 5 hours. On a Mac Studio it took about 3 hours, but that's with the new FCPX that significantly reduced render times for M1 chip machines.
