@@TheRetroManRandySavage agree! I purchased an old cassette player/recorder at a garage sale a couple of weeks back. I was super pumped to record over some old cassettes to get that old sound. You know, put tape on the edge of any old cassette and you could record over it. I was bummed when the player was broken and I couldn't get it to work. I mean, it was a $1, but damn.... it was a $1! 😭🤣

Anyway, he told me last week that his eldest daughter wanted to start collecting 80s tech. She bought a cassette player, tried playing it when it arrived and the button's fell off, lol. Was there any power on your cassette player? If there was, then maybe the belt had gone. Maybe you would just be better off buying another, rather than having it refurbished. Thankfully you only paid a dollar for it.😬👍

@@Screwtxpe. lol. Cheers, buddy. Yeah, these were pretty popular with kids in the 80s. I didn't use mine for long though. I remember my aunt buying me a Walkman with the radio built in. I'm stoked to have these now though. They're heavier than they look. It's like ankle weights, but for the head, lol. Yeah, I have the beard most of the year. I maybe shave it off once. It's been that way since the late 90s. People used to look at me in an odd way back then, because beards didn't become popular until year's later. Just a shame it's more grey than anything else. Atleast my moustache still has some colour to it.😂🙌
