Adam Cooper the power band and fill of a v8 to a 4 banger is completely different and the tq under the curve is unmatched. Yes you can cram 38 psi of boost in a 4 banger to make 800 to 1000 hp but how longer will it handle it compared to a v8??? And a v8 can make that power on much less boost. A v8 will always sound better and make more power on the same number off boost. However nothing is more bad ass than a fast n/a car and gets big respect running low 10’s and high nines in a street car full interior and street toyo r888r with nav , heated and cooled seats a banging stock sound system and it goes on. If a car is completely gutted with none functionally seats and slicks and no power under 4500-5k it’s not a street car is a uncomfortable drag car. Give me a fast fully loaded super car/ sports car Any day that does everything well speed, handles , corners , brakes , sounds bad ass and looks bad ass and draws attention

Fassemspeed301 and evos can handle power easily, stock block evos makes 600whp (which is up with most v8s, and at power level alot of v8s (not all v8s) dont make it past that because they have punnie rods) and run forever, it's all in the tune

Stock viper and vette motors can handle 1000whp the fact of the matter is v8’s just make power more efficiently they can make at 7-8 psi what a 4 banger needs 30+ to make and the 4 bangers always blow up because they weren’t meant for that stuff they are a family car. Master diesel and gasoline technician for a living and I make a lot of money doing that it pays for my cars and I’ve worked in a high performance shop before part time I know a little something.
