Bosnian Bill, the man of 1,000 intros. It's always fun to see the intros in addition to the cool videos. Congrats to the winner.

I love how just a handful of different pins make that a worthwhile lock.

I'm a new subscriber but I'm addicted to your video! I just bought my first set of picks and fumbled my way through 5 locks so far. the clear training lock, 3 doors on my house and a random property key lock box that was left on our gas line measure thing by the previous property owner. Thanks bill!

I took a 1000 mile trip, and put some of these techniques to use along the way. I now have $187.75 in change, a life time supply of condoms, tampons, toilet seat protectors, paper towels, toilet paper, and a few toilet plungers. Just kidding! I really wish I "had" brought my picks. I will need them tomorrow to get into the outbuildings on a bank foreclosure property. I hate it when they do that! I need to see inside those pump house for the pool, utility sheds, green houses, shops, storages, furnace buildings, flue access, etc. I can't believe I left my picks at home.

I got my first lock pick kit. It's garbage from China. But I just wanted something to start learning with and it was only $12. I also put in an order for one of Mad Bob's pick kits that you reviewed, still at the same low price. It should be here in a few weeks hopefully. Thanks for the inspiration to take up a new hobby, your videos are excellent.

Hey Bill. Funny enough, I actually bought one of these not too long ago because, like you, I've got a problem buying Master locks. Anyway, I was quite surprised to see that it was actually loaded with spools...

LockPickingLawyer also had the same issue with a 930 recently. I think it's to keep us tinkerers from actually making Master Locks decent, and to make a sort of separation between ML and American.

I actualy bought that same model lock a few weeks ago from home depot. It had all standard key pins, but it surprisingly had all spool driver pins, so maybe someone from master has been taking notes. That one might be an earlier version, mine is a little differnet, it has two extra rivet kind of things holding the rubber part on.
@tedpark6814
@tedpark6814 8 лет назад
+Kane Fame The lock was purchased from Home Depot in Calgary AB, and had no security pins in it. I noticed that Rona (A Canadian DIY store) has them back in stock, so I'll go buy one and see if the new ones are any better. On that lock, the bolt assembly holding the cylinder in place went through the rubber dust cover, so it was possible to pull the dust cover off and the bolt would be loose - maybe not enough to unscrew it, but I still think it was an issue.

After you modify one of the challenge locks, do you attempt to re-pick it a few times afterwards? Just to see if the modifications made it more difficult? I could imagine that sometimes it might make it easier if you happen to alter the one thing that was causing a no-feedback situation.

How well do the serrated and spool pins hold up against bump keys? I'm guessing that is what makes a lock "bump Proof" or at least a lot more resistant to bumping.

Hi Bill, thanks as always for your amazing videos. I can't ever just watch one of them, I need to always look over five or 10 videos that I've already seen 50 times each :-) I know you have heaps to do, but I was really wondering if you might be able to go in depth with the Peterson International bypassing tools such as the Euro Thumb Turn tools, Adams Rite Push Wires and maybe the Adams Rite DL Trip Wire? It'd be great if you could share your knowledge with us about these tools, as I'm sure they'd save a bunch of us in a pinch! Thanks as always Bill.
