This legend of a man is an incredible inspiration to all people, young or old, especially us older people.....OMG....I know some car guys in their 70's that are thinking of quitting the whole car scene...I say, just watch this man.......all the best Mr Beswick sir!!..
A few years ago we were in Virginia with the Farmer. After the burnout I open the door and fan the smoke out, snug his belts down and make sure the steering wheel is secure. At 400 feet the wheel came off, he hit the wall, powered out of it and went through the lights at 170 steering it with the nub.( He tossed the wheel in the empty passenger section).
When Arnie backs that thing up you better get the f out of the way because he doesn't mess around. I saw him race and I swear he was doing 60 backwards. 😳
60 plus. At Dinwiddie I had to inform the track crew of his antics. They said, oh, we know. We were told to move away until he is finished. That made me chuckle.
