Grumpy is being yourself. No, we can not be happy and cheerful all the time. I love watching you two, but I do understand there are somethings that are none of my business! The hive was really a dense patch! So there are bees and midges...I think you are brave to live amongst them as you do. Look at how quickly Shona has grown! Good luck with the chimneys.

Everyone has a bad mood now and again. Film it. It's life. The gardens with the grass, flowers and shrubs look really pretty. Katie, the salute was nice, but don't forget to blow taps. And don't walk under the ladder! I'd say the road bridge could use a judicious application of WD40

That was extremely entertaining and a bit of a 'giggle'. Having kayaked the entire length of the Canal (60 miles) from just beyond 'Neptune's Staircase' to Inverness (x2), I certainly recognise those locks. The lochs and river sections (to avoid some of the 'canal' and locks) are incredibly beautiful. A long but very worthwhile 'paddle' Scott (or is a luxury 'super yacht' or pleasure craft more your style?) 😂

Old painter here, painted many a rendered chimney stack, split your ladders in two so one half is resting on the roof, which hooks over the ridge at the top and put the other ladder up as normal, next to the roof ladder, make sure it's footed when you climb up step onto the other half of the ladder, roll up an old coat or blanket and put it under the roof ladder to keep your toes from hitting the roof.
