Nothing is going to change. They will give from one side and take double from another side. They will say taxable limit is 7L. we will all start jumping. Then she will say LTCG rate will be 20% and the 1L limit is removed. End of the day remember we are all the biggest bakras of govt.

Govt never reduce incometax rates, until and unless free beed promised are stopped for those who are only benificiaries since long long years and should be reduced periodically. If not govt will penalise tax payers by increasing taxes.

In my 40 years of earning life, Govt has always given a raw deal to salaried. The salaries are visible unlike business income and no govt wants to lose a single rupee. They may at best throw peanuts of about 5000 relief and sometimes take it back through other tax. Anyway the tax collected next year on higher income would only pinch the salaried more

Instead of implementing ardha kranti proposal hurriedly like they did with demonetisation, government might have chosen to gradually reduce taxes. Slowly all taxes will be reduced and transaction tax will take over other taxes.

No reduction from present FM. She doesn't know people's minds. Only corporate people help. In our share market so many taxes are there , that should not be able to reduction. At least reply also not able given till date.(One investor asked questions on the share market). Not required tax reduction. Only required for tax payers medical card at the age of 55 years based on their tax payment previously). Taxes collecting based on other countries models but not giving the benefits to Sr.citizens as like as other countries. Only giving the benefits to lazy people. That benefits growing the lazy people. At least those who are getting benefits are that people should grow at least 5 trees along with colonies and roads.
