As a kid I rode in the back of many of these. Too $$ for my family, but tons of neighbors, aunts/uncles, people from church, etc. had them. So comfortable, and such a regal presence. These or a Buick Electra are more preferable to me than same-era Cadillacs.
These were and are great cars, They have such a luxurious and quiet ride. Some what underpowered with that 307 Cubic Inch engine but good on fuel. I would set the cruise at 115 km per hour and get an honest 31 to 32 miles per gallon.

An Olds 98 of this era was a far better car than Cadillac was making with their piece of crap HT4100 engine. Cadillac eventually started putting in the Olds 307 that this car had in their cars because the HT4100 was so bad.
