My First car was 1984 Regency 98 back in 1996! Was a beast on the road!! Was passed down to me and then cousin bought it and drove for several years afterwards.
My dad had a clean '83 oldsmobile 98 back in 1987 when i was 12 yrs old,i wasnt old enough to even drive but that car was clean as hell,it was totaled in an accident in early 1989,good memories,RIP dad
The '83 is super nice. I absolutely love those Prima velour seats. I would give anything to have this car. All it's missing is the fiber optic lamp monitors.
One of my favorite cars of my mom was a chocolate brown 1975 Caprice hardtop (no pillar) with tan interior and all options. Beautiful body style for the Caprice. These 98’s were so beautiful. Oldsmobiles answer to the big Caddy.
Luv the 403 6.6 5.7 350 and 5.0 307 cubic inch Olds engines there's an Oldsmobile museum in Lansing Michigan they have the last Oldsmobile 1990 v8 on in a display exhibit its got all the assembly workers signatures its a must see
I used to own two 98 Regency Broughams, 4drs. loaded all options, 1984/1978 both had Moon Roofs too. BOTH had 350 5.7 Liter DIESEL Engines. They were beautiful cars. Mint condition, only 18K miles on each one. Had to learn how to work on Diesel Engines. Got good mileage too, but those engines were problematic. I loved the cars thou.
C-Body was a killer model for every GM brand across the board. Cadillac kept theirs in the lineup up until 92 which was called the D-body then. Except for certain power plants, power trains and emissions these cars were solid in every other category.
i like how they put the original speaker covers on top of the back deck now thats Real old school like that turn it on let here the music up in there bro
Nice cars, I had a Pontiac Parisene similar to that gold color one that you had with the 30 and Vogue‘s . Just like mine with the skirts and everything.
Always grabbing straight heat RU-vid let’s get him up there this man goes hours away and grab straight classics I mean clean joints and they always 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I’m locked in with the videos my boy they don’t call him MR75 for nothing 🤘🏽🤘🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I may have missed it but I didn't catch any mention of the suspension on each car. They look to be air pressure regulated for height.the pics of the car Seen now seem to show that stance of the car seems to be higher than it has to be. I had a 2 DOOR DONE IN MIDNITHE BLUE METAL FLAKE. She glided down the concrete like a dream. I have always loved the 98s in this last body style. Oldsmobile style to the bone. The Caddys were flashy . 98s looked like old money. Rich ,reserved, DL and solid as a rock. M 98 performed well whatever I gave it . A street cruiser is its best form . Main street with the windows down in a huge 2 door car. She was a beauty on saturday night in down town at the local Dairy Queen. Ok I'll shut up....
Luv both of your ninty eight regencys those cars shared the same c body chasis with the buick Electra park Ave and the the c body cardiac those were one of GMs best full sized RWD cars I think GM dropped the ball converting them to FWD after 1985
Dad and Mom bought brand new Oldsmobiles in September of 1983. Dad had a 1983 Ninety Eight Regency Brougham Royal Blue. Mom has a 1983 Cutlass Ciera brougham also Royal Blue.
hi to you ive love seeing these great classice cars look so great again its makes me wish ive still had my late dads old 9 passner station wagen pontaic with olds 307 c;u.i 4brr card with all ex. goodies full power still wire wheels orig wood on both sides. just a great old car thanks again tom from sturgeon bay wis.
What's on both they are in very good condition. 👍 mileage on these are not great being low. That means that sat for certain times. Both should have well over 400k in miles. By then not many survived as well in the junkyard. Gm made these cars in the 80' switch engines Pontiac to Oldsmobile cars chevy to Oldsmobiles chevy to both olds,Pontiac,Chevrolet. 307 was a rare engine to find in these 98 and 88. Regency broughm was the elite as time went by they used more options like delta 88broughm had electric antennas Regency had both electric antenna and trunk release. Dual mufflers were an option Regency had skirts as well as an option. As well as size engines. People taken the skirts off in the winter. The summer they showed them off.. last big ds olds 98 or 88 ended in 1985.... the last year of the larger 98&88 styles ....the last year was 90 for the larger wagon custom cruiser. It ended in 1990. .
Both cars are very nice but I don't like v8 it socks gas but you get a very comfortable ride I had a 1966 it rode like a cadalack very smooth ride foot button on the floor to change the station on the radio tilt and telescopic staring power steering power brakes power windows
