[85][4k] KCS & CN Interchange, Jackson, MS 04/11/2021 

This is the final part of the series about railroads and trains in the Greater Memphis area. In this video, we visit the famous Switch Tender in Jackson, MS, where the lines of KCS and CN cross, and where the interachange trains between these railroads run. We meet an "old friend" there, the southbound crude oil train we chased in the previous video ([84]). At Switch Tender, the CN crew of this train and the crew of an empty oil train that is transferred back from KCS to CN swap. At the same location, we also catch a local CN train with an interesting SD40-2 duo - one with the standard cab and one with the "Canadian" safety or wide cab (SD40-2W). Another EMD duo, this time consisting of SD70MACs, leads an empty work train at S West St. After briefly poking the nose into KCS's High Oak Yard, where two CN manifests pose, we make our final stop on the KCS/NS Meridian Speedway in Pelahatchie, MS to watch intermodal KCS IATDA/NS 219 go by.
