Most of the time specific information is sparse; part of the excitement is to visit a rail line and not to know what to expect. However, even freight trains follow some sort of schedule and after a while one has a feeling for which trains could be expected to show up at certain times.
@mbmars01... Do you know why that person was riding on one of the Cars of CSX Q667 at the 2:55 mark?... I obviously don't know if the Crew on board of CSX 5403 noticed that or if he just Hopped on??
Nice video but the voiceover is missing, which is a shame, waile trainspotting is nice, the tittle sort of makes me ekspect more than treainspotting woth the acatonal lower third. But that might just be me
Great Video, your catches are one of the things that led to me making my own channel! One odd thing I did notice was that the S806 Military Train never had his head lights on, and he only had his ditch lights on when he was sounding the horn!
Cool, glad I helped inspire your own channel. Yeah, the lights were off all the time. I think the flashing ditch lights come on automatically when the horn is blown.
That’s what you get by trying to save money on Diesel ,,So what did this time down cost ,I bet it cost a penny or two …It’s all about saving few bucks is it worth it ,,,Me no way 😢😢
I really appreciate your channel and quality camera work. It's a breath of fresh air from the boring stationary view of a long train for 5 minutes I see in other channels. Your panning, zooms, and focus on different aspects of a passing train is impeccable and keeps me watching!
Cool you like this style. I completely agree, of course. It's just nice to watch the trains from different perspectives and also focus on some details. I particularly like the zoom shots.
Awesome video- thanks for being patient with the switching move, not many of us get to ever see that. Editing of explanations was right on point. Keep up the good work !
Ever since i was a kid i would always love to see the trains stop go and even pass i even lived near railroad tracks at one time and even feel the engines shake the house my face would be like 😮 Great video
Every time I listen to this train tribute video it always reminds me of my passion and obsession with trains ever since I was a kid who started with Thomas and Friends before getting use to the trains that go around my hometown of California which are of course Union pacific and it also reminds me that later this year I'm gonna go to Felton and Roseville to see to 2 of my favorite steam trains and one of them is the union pacific big boy 4014 but once again thank you so much for making this video I really appreciate it ALL ABOARD
Awesome. Cool this video brings these memories back. I feel similarly and also like the combination of music and trains. Should do another one at some point... Thanks for your nice feedback!
I don't remember how long this one was. This was many years ago. But, yes, sometimes he was longer than the longest sidings on this line, i.e., more than 11k feet long.
Well, it's good video creators have different styles viewers can choose from and watch what they like most. Narration can be useful to add historic background or a story, but that's not really the case here. I can get away with just the minimal information. Sometimes, annotations can also help provide additional context. Great you like this style. Keep watching :)
Great to see you making and posting videos again. Enjoyed this one as usual. Do you know what the CSX boxcar that has 'do not hump' lettering on it is used for?
It's good to see you are back, we all missed your uploads. CSX 3194 is always a welcome sight, she's one of the most beautiful locomotives in their fleet. I guess traffic is much smaller on this line than years ago and you simply can't film anything for us. But at least the trains in this video are cool. It's interesting that the two upper lights on the military train's locomotive are out and only the ditchlights are working. Very nice footage, thanks for the entertainment.
Hey there! Thanks for your nice words. Both #911 and #3194 are certainly my favorites among the special-themed CSX units. I should have gotten HO models of them when they made them recently, but I missed that. Yeah, traffic levels are rather low and I do not even live close enough to this line to give it occasional blind shots not knowing whether or not there will be anything rolling. I simply don't want to waste time. But I'm sure there will be more videos in the future. Glad you enjoyed this one, too.
