My washer pump hadn't worked for years. The problem was a bad wiper switch. I replaced the entire multi-function switch. Now I could hear the pump was working, but the spray was weak at first before it stopped altogether. The pump inlet filter was completely clogged with sludge from old fluid. Cleaned the tank and the filter, put everything back in. It works fine now. Thanks for a very informative video.
Much appreciated! Replaced the pump on my 94 Toyota Pickup. My resevoir doesn't have that extra tab at the top, but it does have the extra screw hole on the front of the frame next to the battery retainer bracket hole - not sure what it's for.
I have a 94 and it looks nothing like that! My pump was gone when I got the truck and I'm trying to put a new one in. The pictures in the Chilton are useless. Guess I'm winging it.
I had my battery replaced and the pump hose got disconnected... but it got disconnected from the - other - end and I'm looking to find where that reconnects. :D
