This time we’re pitting our buddy Ryan Tuerck’s Papadakis Racing built, 900+ horsepower 2020 Formula Drift Pro1 competition car (on 315s!!) - matched up against our other buddy Darren Parsons in his old school drag Camaro. @@Eduardo_Espinoza I know but these clowns are making stupid excuses for the Toyota like the whole 2 speed glide and 5 speed comment with a sequential setup its similar to a lenco where you dont lift and just pull gears instead of complaining about that they should be complaining the Corolla was on wasn't on a good tire they could have put a 26 or 27×12.5 slick on the car and if they could have figured out how to launch the car it would have been a better race but it still would have lost . It just kills me these dumb kids are mad a back halfed big tire Camaro with a 565 big block Chevy beat a drift car.... smh!

@@THESLlCK It's a Cirrus SR22. I think the turbo just keeps the manifold at 1 atm (or not much more) so it doesn't lose power at altitude. It will reach 19,000 ft. They use big engines because it runs at just 2700 rpm. Higher rpm would require gearing down the prop.

I honestly thought that we were in for a surprise. I actually thought that the Corolla was going to win since I thought it's lighter and has 100+ hp more. I'm glad the Camaro won!! AMERICAN MUSCLE BABY!!

Actually there is. Nowadays American manufacturers like Dodge or Chevrolet offer 6.2l v8s to get the performance european cars achieve from 2.0l I4s. Mental.

100% WRONG. You have 2.0l engines pulling 450hp STOCK. With blocks 1/3 the weight of 'murican muscle'. I run 642hp on a 4 inline 2.0L turbo. I have half the weight of a modern Camaro and more room (4 seater full size hatch).

@@shadowblack1987 Yeah, take off the turbo and how much power can you make? Because these V8 engines can easily make over 700hp all motor. Not to mention a V8 sounds 100 times better than any I4.
