I have enjoyed hearing the Skousens and othets expressing their views.but how can you be savef outside of the kingdom of God?

Respectfully, this questions creates a false dichotomy. There are many active and faithful members of the church who do not embrace the idea that the institution of the church itself is the Kingdom of God. In fact, there is often a clear incongruity resultant of where practice originally upheld as part of the unchanging, and therefore unchangeable/incontestable policies and practices of the church have been likewise changed “through new revelation”. This includes polygamy, who can and can’t be baptized, church disciplinary responses and so on. I have no desire to shake the faith of others, as it says in the 11th article of faith “let them worship how, where, or what they may”. Yet for the sake of this discussion I urge people to recognize that for those who were and are raised in the church they have been raised to believe and be faithful through myriads of false dichotomies: choice to be baptized or reject your church and therefore family, a meaningful temple marriage or a “less than” or un-meaningful church marriage, serve a mission or chose to not serve God etc etc… to take a step further, a foundational beliefs though in the church as that telling people that have no choice but to believe and behave in one certain way is “Satan’s Plan”.
