In this video I fix the driver's side window on an '86 Chevy that won't go up or down.
I found that the wiring harness was broken between the door the cab where the wiring boot is. In the video you don't see me remove the harness and fix the wiring on my work bench. Sorry I did not have that footage.

Tip ! take off the dash and cluster panel, is way better and so much easier, cause it's a hell working with pedals in the middle from below. and I got a 86 and power windows... but no more alway are sloppy and then stuck! no thanks i will get manuals. 😂

My pink wire doesn’t have power, do you know what it’s for. I put a new motor in but driver side window still doesn’t work.

That should be the main power to the switch

Howdy, I enjoyed your video. I am currently working on my power windows on my 86 Chevy C30 dually, and I know exactly how you feel. If you ever have to get to those two black connectors again, going through the instrument panel makes it soooo much easier. If you had removed the entire instrument panel you would have been able to get to them from the top.
