Rod started working with Lawn Boys when he was 13. He bought a brand new one from the local hardware store in the 1980s. He is passing on the love to the next generation. Thanks for watching.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with the Lawn Boy sickness 😃 What state do you live in in case I want to add to my collection? Fun fact: When the federal government banded the making of 2 cycle lawnmowers, Lawn Boy produced 1 million engines just prior to the law going into effect as the law stated your were allowed to finish completing any mowers that you had engines in stock for.
My LB is close to 40yrs old, all original except for the drive belt and I rebuilt the carb, cranks on first pull. Definitely a very good mower, the two strokes are some of the best engines LB had IMHO
Yes, LB's are amazing. They will run forever as long as you know how to do simple maintenance on them and the don't forget to mix the gas. Thanks for watching.
