88 Decotime Pencils With Stackable Storage Review

i wouldnt know i bought them and not used them, very cheap and great for beginner but i think its because im used to the more artist quality now but tend to go back to my less artist quality from time to time 😊🌺🦋

You are most welcome, as i have previously replied to others who mentioned this i was a newbie at the time of reviewing these pencils and i didnt realise i needed to swatch/use them to explain how they are. From what i remember they are like the faber castel black edition pencils but a more cheaper nastier version. I personally used them once and didnt like them. Very scratchy, very thin pencils that are triangular shaped. Basically you pay for what you get. If your looking for a good affordable pencil set that has a good variety, layer well, colourful and nice to use i would highly recommend the arteza experts! If you want something abit cheaper with still more variety there is the castlearts but i find them to also be scratchy another pencil set i got rid of but my arteza i bought a second set. If you want expensive, long lasting, blendable, nice variety and colourful prismas and faber castell polychromos are the better pencil sets atm. Im not familiar with the older sets i only noticed this pencil set recently so i dont know if theres added pencils or not sorry :( i know they keep bringing new sets out for the decotime aquamarkers but when ive bought another set its only been odd few new colours others are duplicates so maybe the same for the pencils aswell? i know the range sell the decotime pencils aswell so worth a look on there site, u get to see colour numbers aswell :)

Good Evening Jen! You're very welcome for the review, I had not even seen these online or on telly. I had 2 sets previously from my local boyes that came in tins! I did swatch them, then called at my local b & m today and noticed these and im like your kidding me?! LOL. They are lovely pencils id say they are along the same lines as the castle arts, really soft, not waxy or oily tbh, but very blendable! Ive only ever used them once as i have fc polys and prismas which are my go to pencils now but sometimes on occasions mingle with other pencils too. The stackable storage trays are a added bonus! But unfortunately u cant buy the stackable storage trays on thier own as i would have liked them for my other pencils aswell! but yes deffo recommened for £8 each! :D i hope i helped answer your question and enjoy the rest of your evening!

Ive just quickly got a pencil from the stack and added water and looks to be a false advertisement by decotime in regards to being watercolour, they are certainly not watercolour just ordinary colouring pencils tracy! 😊💗🌺🦋 xxx

​@@ColouredWithLove-Jane the 5cm you call depth, is that the height of the unit, from the desk/table to the top of it? Sorry not trying to be rude, just trying to clarify. It sounds awfully small to fit 4 trays of pencils inside?

Yes the depth is the height from table top to the top of the unit hun they are triangle shaped pencils and not chunky but i assure u there is 4 trays that hold 11 pencils in each tray :)

Yes they are quite sturdy, they havr notches on the bottom that slip into holes on the top so they dont move so easily, you would have to lift them up from each other to move them. No worries lovely hope ive helped in some way x
