Can you tell me a bit about your build? What kind of hp are you making, what does your motor/trans/rear end look like? I am trying to decide what to do with my truck to make it a little more fun. Thanks!
Actually it's a pretty stock 5.0L / 302ci with the 4 speed EAOD, (electronic automatic overdrive), trans and the 8.8" open diff. Not too exciting as such but I've removed / deleted some weight. The A.C. is removed, the front fuel tank, most of the exhaust system and heat shields. The battery is relocated over the right, rear wheel. It balanced out pretty nicely, does good burnouts, doughnuts and power slides and can be drifted nicely around turns. It doesn't make "actual" horsepower but has some good torque.
Super clean truck i love it man, looks identical to mine aside from paint color, no chrome trim on the headlights, flat gray grille and bumper, dog dish caps. Custom model i'm assuming?
It's the Custom model, rubber floor mats, fabric seats etc. Its got a few light dings but is nice and straight and the glass is good. It's a bit lighter than stock and can be fun to squirt through corners.
This pass I don't have a time for as it was somewhat informal street style racing. The best I remember on a timed run, using the tree and timing gear was something like 16.6 and 85 mph, (it's a stock 302 and 27 years old). At the time I'd just hacked the exhaust and removed the air conditioning.
