I listened to all Vice City and San Andreas commercials before this. When I played this video a real ad popped up and I thought "that wasn't funny." Then I noticed the video didn't start.
lmao, a friend of mine was reading the GTA little booklet that comes with the game and it was full of fake ads for things in GTA. he forgot he was reading the games book when he came across the "heart stopper" burger. which was a picture of a stupid amount of meat and cheese between a bun and he goes "Where can i get this?!?". we laughed so hard at him
DJ Warwing exactly what I was thinking... best part of the production fucking around with nonsensical bullshit... I wouldnt be suprised if they consumed drugs
I think they messed up the lines on that ad because it’s supposed to be slam ad against Michael Graves, but partway through they say “In 1968 John Hunter didn’t go to Vietnam when his country needed him, but now John hunter sure likes to go to Vietnam & Cambodia, on single men bachelor trips.”
where is " I thought maybe I was Gay, or Transgendered... but having tried both of those, it wasn't that.... Then I realized what it was.... I HATE WALKIN!!!"
@@RelentlessOhiox Wow, you must be the kind of person that only dogs can hear when they fart. This did not age well, are you high? There's no time limit for humor.
These commercials are pure gold, they capture the sheer decadence and lowlife mindset of a crime infested, overpriced dump (to quote Lazlow) like NYC. Sure, 70+% of players won't even notice them but for minority, this is a reward, like a signature on your favourite book, premium for those who paid special attention, prize for the few, they teach us so much and while the crazy hustle, adventure and missions of GTA are for everyone, for the masses, the commercials on the other hand feel like they are only for minority, like some books that only people with PhD would read, the fact that they are not enjoyed by everyone or even understood by many makes you appreciate them more and feel the need to share a bit of your knowledge about them with others.
xqyudhpoighnjrk yeah , this comercials are pure gold , in fact , i put somo of them intercalated in my usb mix , when i'm at work i play it like is a regular radio station and people always ask me which station is it , i always tell them it's an internet station ...
I was playing GTA 4 on my Xbox 360 and watching this video on RU-vid at the same time. Funny thing happened. The banging trash can radio commercial played on the game and on this RU-vid video at the exact same time lol. It was completely in sync!
The thing I love about GTA is that all of the 'filler' content like advertisements, pedestrian quotes and various innuendo, is very Saints Row like in that it's very slapstick and tongue-in-cheek, but in reality they actually all have great storylines that immerse the player into the world and its main characters a lot more than one might expect. Saint Row on the other hand retains the innate humor and comedy throughout the entire game, even going so far as to break the fourth wall a few times. Both games are great, but it's interesting how they both have the same style of slapstick comedy, but are completely different in their levels of immersion when it comes to the actual storyline.
In an interview I read the developers said that the Saints Row series is a 3D tribute to the original two GTA games which weren't serious whatsoever and basically just existed for shock factor. When GTA went 3D it lost a lot of the absurdness in exchange for a realistic in game world. The radio and TV stayed whacky but the missions become more grounded.
This video is actually lacking the 10 extra commercials that were released for episodes of liberty city, but you can download the complete version in here: www.reddit.com/r/gtaonline/comments/6ibm76/grand_theft_auto_the_radio_stations/ Just scroll all the way down to GTA IV
jojo mort "ay man teach me how you danced in the old days. You know montage or flipback or sum shit. Nah son you gotta dance like it means something. You dance like you sleep with men. You gotta learn how to dance while walking a tightrope and humping a chair at the same time. It's how we did it in the old days. You kids don't know how lucky you are. Back when I was your age I had herpes" It will never get old
Some of my favorite moments. "We all know how women like to make out with a baby's bottom" 2:46 "Mollis overrides the dignity and the disgust that often result with a sexual encounter with a desperate girl." 5:52 "I'm a mom, so I often cheat on my husband while he's at work." 7:30 "My whole life I felt like something was wrong, I thought maybe I was gay, or transgender, but having tried both of those it wasn't that, then I realized what it was, I hate walking!" 8:02
14:46 'Come over here and lick my banana bread' is literally the best thing ever. I swear, I don't understand how it's not a meme. I searched for this specifically for that.
My favorite is probably Popping The Movie. This parody of Step Up is a slap in the face of Step Up. A sissyfied movie about a kid who breakdances like he sleeps with men. Made me laugh so hard when I first heard it in GTA IV.
Revisiting this after a long time and then I come across the Trackify one... "Now nobody will molest them but me!" *uncomfortable kid laughter* My god, that's just precious!
Amazing... I've logged 300 hours in this game so far, and I NEVER get tired of hearing these commercials. Why can't real life be more like this? This is a question I ask myself about every 20 minutes I spend in Liberty City. *sigh*... What a great fucking game.
1:00:10 Wow. Your character is taking some virtual payola and seizing some people's homes under eminent domain. Don't worry. The virtual courts always come down on the sides of big business and property. That's great. Just like the real Supreme Court. 😂😂😂
There's just something so perplexing about Banging Trash Can Lids For an Hour. The writing descriptions and idea just has so much going for it that keep me thinking, and coming back to reflect on the actual idea of it. It's not self aware about it's concept but plays very well to explain itself. I keep thinking about it and coming back to it. It's funny and thought provoking. Just such a strange show about Banging Trash Can Lids For An Hour has to have something actually going for it that it's trying to explain.
the best gta is vice city followed by gta IV ... the humor of this commercials is priceless , gta V is a big disapointment , didnt finish it and i dont intend to ...
-Poppin Commercial- You gotta dance like it means something. You gotta dance like you walking a tightrope and humping a chair at the same time. That's how we did it in the old days. You kids don't know how lucky you are back when I was your age i had Herpes 😂😂
