I really like the sense of height in this scape. The open areas are like jungle clearings surrounded by tall trees.

Can you do a 30 minute video of one camera on a stand set up in front of the 8ft tank, please? So we can just enjoy the tank and all the fish like we sitting on a couch at home :) . Or like a nature documentary of just fish haha

A tip for safely parting and putting together the magnetic cleaner is to twist it 90 degrees, then pull, or attach at 90 degrees, then twist into position. Glad to see your 8ft is doing so well 👍

That aquarium is absolutely amazing! So many different fish and plants are so lush. When you said you'd be breaking it down, you totally got me like Noooo! LOL!

I never had corydoras in a tank until my current set up, they have been one of my favorites to watch, they congregate on this off shoot of driftwood that looks like Pride Rock from Lion King and just hang out. Very amusing!

Sorry MD but I think your Amazon swords have no deficiency because the lack of nutrients. I had the same problem a few years ago and I found out that the bristlenose pleco’s where “rasping” the leaves. Try to observe the tank in the dark. It is then when you can see what they are doing with these plants. Greetings from Belgium!

Corydoras are such fun fish! And with the amount of plants you've put in, some little cory fry might survive. I got lucky with my bandit corys. I got a gang of 7 back in January and while in quarantine (a planted tank they shared with new blue dream shrimp), they left a bunch of eggs and I ended up with six more. Once you've got fry in there, you'll probably see them dart around the sand looking for food. They'll survive as long as they can find stuff to eat and aren't picked off by other fish.

The color change on the cichlid is incredible, so cool to see!

I like to squeeze out that filter floss into a small buck of water before I rinse it in the sink. That makes some fantastic water for the house and patio plants. It's chockfull of nutrients and beneficial bacteria that those plants can use. Just a thought.

Well,, still watching.. still liking,, you're still entertaining lol. I do miss you and Matt's chemistry (have more vids with him 😉 ).. And his channel is coming along nicely.. was a little hard to watch at first but he seems to have found a bit of a groove/ loosened up. 👍 Guys

Your tanks are like a under water paradise, it amazes me how you get your plants so vibrant especially the pinks and reds without using co2, I did buy a red one and don't use co2 but I thought let's try, it's now gone a rusty colour although it is growing amateur compulsion buy I guess 🙄

I don't like using a magnetic scraper because accidents can happen, like if there's sand on it, and then you get some ugly scratches. I only use a razor blade scraper, and I've been doing it for many years. Kim from Denmark :-)

Hey buddy, not sure if you can buy the Gorilla brand of ladders but you won’t regret it! Blood worms for the cichlids brings some great colors out! Great build and looking really nice

Amazing tank (as always) but this one is a level of its own. I'm curious, instead of fighting with the dark panel/screen, have you considered blackout blinds on the windows/doors? Would do the same job (re the reflection), but would have the added advantage of not needing to be moved OR stored anywhere.... they would just stay on the windows when rolled up. Just a thought.

So very beautiful!! I could sit with my nose pressed against the glass all day! Please be careful! We need you. (Your channel is my sanity saver.) My son had the same thing happen on the ladder to the slide on the school playground when he was four. He bit clean through beside his mouth, broke one tooth, cracked two more, plus had a concussion. It's nothing to play with. Get a new ladder!! Please.
