I've just been through a very tumultuous month with a uncomplicated surgery that turned complicated and dangerous, but I made it out - with an temporary ostomy and a hysterectomy ahead of me that neither me or my surgeon knew I needed. But I heard this today and it broke straight through to my ❤ Blessed be Hashem for his mercy and his way of knowing how to get through to me. And thank you for the music, Hashem has given you a beautiful gift.

I'm not Jewish, but this song deeply moved me. I hate to identify myself as Christian, because of all the baggage that word has collected along the way, but I do follow the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. I have recently been meditating on Moses; his story has been speaking into my life lately. And this song... G-d used this song to speak encouragement and strength to me. I hope that's not offensive to 8th Day; they are one of my all-time favorite groups.
