8th Media Law Symposium: Greta Van Susteren & Roger Cossack (November 3, 1995) 

On November 3, 1995, the Law School hosted its 8th Annual Symposium on Media Law: "Can a Public Figure Get a Fair Trial in the Media Age?" featuring commentators and co-hosts of CNN's "Burden of Proof," Greta Van Susteren, defense attorney and Partner of Coale & Van Susteren, and Roger Cossack, a Washington D.C.-based attorney and former prosecutor in Los Angeles County. Using the recent O.J. Simpson trial as its backdrop, the symposium, moderated by Professor Michael Polelle, explored the impact and influence of the Media in determining if a public figure can get a fair trial in America.
