I love Taeyeon more than anyone, she's my ultimate bias in Kpop amd always will be. In all honesty, this is my least favorite out of all the albums she's released, amd yes, I own every one of them. "I" was such a statement album. It was so cohesive from track to track. "Why" just seemed really disjointed in comparison. It was like it didn't really know what kind of album it was. I listen to Taengoo on a pretty much daily basis, but this is her one album that I could cheerfully take a pass on. To a lot of her fans, this is their favorite release from her. Opinions...

As I recall "Why" is the follow up to "Starlight", and the ending scene on the beach is like a tribute/shrine to her lost love (played by Dean). 🥰 She really does not record a bad song. If you ever think you don't like one of her songs, clear your head and listen a couple more times. That voice will help you hear what she liked about it.
