I love this car so much, the high pitched exhaust from the rotor engine is so awesome. I’d drive it in a heartbeat but I also never touched a car like that tho, so I’d crash and burn most likely if I gunned it
@@trentdavis404the thing is that every damn 4 rotor on this planet is a boost shoved instant wheelspin abomination. no one is making an NA 4 rotor with proper linear power graphs. and not to mention this thing has 3 spark plugs per rotor, the number of plugs equivalent to a v12
Gotta love how it sounds like an F1 V8 despite only revving to 9k, thats thanks to rotaries being double the pitch of four strokes despite each rotor firing three times per rotation
@@H3LLMAU5 my only concern is all the fab work I don’t think I’m quite experienced enough as long as you are using OEM apex seals you won’t blow one for about 120,000.
@@Lostbombernow i don't know much bout them spinny Dorito bois but i saw this built billet 3 rotor build once and it looked insane, probably what I would go for if I ever had one. Apex seals do seem like a bit of a joke though.
Not only did it win 1991 Le Mans right before the rule changes, but its one of the best looking, best sounding cars to ever touch Le Mans Race track. definitely sitting high up on the highest top speed of most cars even cars coming out today. 787bs max speed was 258mph which is more than most super cars and some hyper cars today. The 787b sits in many of our hearts as one of the best cars to touch motorsport history. The rotary may be shit in the eyes of every day owners. But on track, with the right specs and the right driver, it sits near the top.

In some way the sound of 787b reminds me the sound of f1 v10 but i think mostly or just only during uniform speed. During acceleration is more aggresive i'd say.
Grand Turismo 4 ps2 flashbacks. You never wanted to mess with this car as a NPC playing on hard mode. This car was always a pain in the butt to keep off your bumper in the rear view. If it's that aggressive on a video game can you imagine it in real life 🤣😳😳😳
@@Kierenstanden-qz7eu actually mazda was the old group c car that's why they had to run the race with the few hundred kilos of ballast as a penalty.. and most important thing in a endurance race is to win first you gotta finish it.. yahh the 787 was slower than the rest of the filed but it was more fuel efficient and reliable than other... soo yahh.. they played the ultimate long run!
@@boog3y lol jags had more also Mazda was a different category in group c they was lucky jags finished 2nd 3rd and 4th with old cars and added ballast. Also why was did aco recieve over 300 Mazda cars and a replica for the museum after
