Never in my life I thought I'd witness something like this!
The communion of the Old-School, LeMans-Winning 4-rotor R26B MAZDA 787b, a true rotary legend & the New-School 26b RX-7 Drift Car built by ‪@madmike.123‬ & the Mad Lab straight outta NZ !!
Let's take a moment to appreciate this outstanding achievement in getting both cars together in what I can only describe as the Battle of Ages of Rotary Engines!! SOUND ON and Enjoy the music!!

The NA engine of the 787B tickles me in ways I didn’t know a sound could. The intake was genius and makes such a wonderful noise with the extreme RPMs.

Engine at the back on that 787B. Exhaust different & totally shorter. But if someone wanted to custom build one to get that sound or closer to it definitely can be done. Maybe the porting is different to the 787B also. But to be honest it's a 4rotor. They sound just awesome

Gt4 is the goat. So many Le man’s legends in the game were there. The C9’s v8 and 787B’s 26B were lovely when they flew by. If you can make the trek to Goodwood it will be well worth it.

Yep that's the original 787b and it was driven here at Goodwood by Johnny Herbert as well. In case you didn't know, he was part of the team of drivers that took it to victory back in 1991.
