i love bobby's "you don't leave her [athena's] sight". bc one would assume he wants buck to protect his wife in this high intense situation, but what's more likely is athena has to babysit buck's borderline-suicidal ass.
@@heyyitsjanea the exact vibes that gives off 😂 I read a fanfic once and there was a line in there that said "Eddie, chimney, they're Bobby's family. Buck and May? They're Bobby's kids" or something like that and yup. That's exactly it.

Yep they are still his adoptive parents after 4 years. The fact that Buck is back on the job after all the trauma he went through on the job is all due to Bobby! When Athena and Buck went to find Maddie hell they became her parents too!
My personal favorite was when he was all ready to jump in the dumpster for evidence like Bobby did and Athena just pulled up behind him with a, “Don’t even THINK about it, Buck.”
His real parents never did that even after his apology in LAPD in the episodes onwards, for e.g Eddie get shot (even Taylor worried about his safety) punched by Chim, he and Eddie kidnapped by two prisoners, break up with Taylor (Bathena knew he dated her),
In Fight or Flight (2x13) there's a scene with just Athena and Buck in the car, Buck's sitting lost in thought and she actually calls him "Buckaroo" as she can see how worried he is. I rewatched the episode recently and only just picked up on it. Just a Mom calling her son by his pet name.

@@lauratroy13 it’s just canon that neither Buck nor Maddie seemed to understand pop culture references they really should (at least in season 1&2) so I think their household probably just didn’t allow much tv or music.
Or a scene where Athena is like "my mother radar is going off, someone is up to something". She calls Mae, and Harry and they are fine. Athena is bugged by this that something is happening...and then Bobby gets a call from Buck "Hey Cap, I did something" and Bobby and Athena have that look (you know the look, like what did he do now)
In the pilot Bobby literally says, "...You call me Pops, etc" and I'm kinda sad I have never(?) actually seen Buck call him that. I hope we do in the future
I have to side with Buck during the whole Maddie/Doug crisis. The cops were acting like Maddie was already as good as dead and they were more worried about gathering evidence to build a case to prosecute Doug than they were interested in trying to save Maddie's life.

Yes and they have a amazing son we all know that he is Bobby and Athenas son not the buckleys kid . Plus they spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with buck they're his parents.

Was looking for the part where they’re rescuing Abby’s fiancé Sam from the train and the other girl, and Buck literally tells Bobby “that he’s [Buck] not Athena” and Bobby gets mad.
I liked 1 more scene, when Doug took Maddie and Buck was getting hyper thinking she also must be dead while talking to Marks. Bobby calms him down, tells him that if Doug would have killed her, he would have found her, so not to lose hope.
My favorite Momma Athena moment (as a surrogate mom to Buck) is when she pulls up in her (I think) police car and says over the loud speaker “Don’t even think about it,Buck.”
Bobby Begins Again. The scene where Buck first arrives at the 118 in the middle of dinner and introduces himself. He takes the empty seat next to Bobby, and Buck says he feels like he’s in the right place, Bobby just smiles at him but you can see he’s thinking “yeah, I think you are”.
I swear we need more parent-child moments with these three! Buck is so precious, and I just wanna hear him call Bobby “Pops” like what was mentioned in season 1!
