@@fubuki5hiro764 I think the first name usage denotes level of intimacy/closeness, because the people who have used it are family (Parents, Maddie). I don't recall off the top of my head if Eddie's called him Evan but I wouldn't be surprised.

Yes to all of this. Oh, I've seen so many comments about Buck should grovel and apologies for his behavior and how embarrassing he was. Are people forgetting it's been less then a week since he was kissed by Tommy! His best friend turned up at his very first date! Thank god for Tommy being understanding and gentle; Buck really deserves to have a wonderful first love experience with him.
@@madisont8529 Couldn’t agree more. Everyone always expects him to be flawless, never cuts him some slack. Some of the episodes in previous seasons really pissed me off cause Buck’s the one apologizing all the time! All the lawsuit stuff, Maddie leaving, his parents appearing. Not once did someone apologize to him. I swear Evan Buckley is too kind and selfless for his own good.
@@Ustianna It does frustrate me so much. I'd just love it if for once, one of the other characters would apologize to him. I guess though, it puts Buck in a good light; he makes mistakes but he's got a big enough heart to admit when he's at fault.
Omg there’s such a big difference. From Buck with woman to men. He’s so much more calm and confident in a way than he is with woman. And just seems so much more happy. Sending hugs out there to all my fellow lgbt family and more. ❤
Yes, I was in Buck's position many years ago. You're nervous in a really good way because it's all so new but at the same time the world just fits together so much better and makes more sense so you also feel more confident.

Not only was I nervous enough to spill whine on her but also gave her a black eye by accident tripping her when we left. But hey few years later she’s now my fiancé so who am I to complain lol.

It’s kinda beautiful him (Tommy) calling Buck ‘Evan”. It’s a part of him that felt unloved because of his parents. The part of him he hides so well ever since he put on the identity of Buck. Tommy is interested in the whole of Buck, including the part that is, ‘Evan’.
I can see Tommy being a strong stable foundation for Evan while he figures things out. They way he actively listens with his full attention on Buck. If its short term or for the long haul, its gonna be a great ride.

I did not know this show that well, but have fallen in love with these two. What chemistry and the story line is beautiful. They are both amazing. Please continue their path and as I understand 911 has been renewed, please bring Louis back as a regular! ! I am a convert to the show now. Also Oliver is perfect in his uncertainty and realization of his feelings and Louis equals him in his understanding and interest. Just brilliant!

He's going to introduce a new date to his crazy family, his entire work family, while coming out to everybody, outing Tommy to everybody, at his sister's WEDDING, which would be date 1 1/2? Way to soak up the attention, rachet up the pressure and drama, and the devil can take the potential fallout I guess. Brave anyway - if not very considerate.
I love how Buck doesn’t correct him on using Evan. It’s so sweet, it’s like Tommy is seeing through all the ‘Buckness?’ And seeing Buck for something more. Not sure that made a lick of sense but I stand by it because these two are adorable And watching Buck jump in with both feet now that he’s told Maddie and Eddie is the most adorable thing ever
The writers didn't give us a perfect kiss scene between these two in the previous episode for nothing! Give me more of Buck and Tommy! Or should I say, give me more Tevan?!?! :)
I hate to be the one to burst your bubble, but Idk if that's happening since in the last few minutes, Buck and Eddie show up at the wedding late, meaning something had to happen during the bachelor party between the two
The kisses scenes are beautiful but this scene keeps to be my favorite one... They are so cute... Buck is simply adorable and Tommy is so sweet, the way they look at each other and they smile at each other melts my heart... Tommy is so proud of his Evan and so I am

From this episode, i actually like the Buck and Tommy dynamic a lot and hope it continues. Honestly, i dont see romantic sparks between Buck and Eddie, they look better as good friends and the episode showed they are better as good friends.

They're much better as best friends and I think making them a couple would ruin the dynamic between the two. Besides, how adorable is Buck when he's around Tommy?!?!
I started watching 9-1-1 because of the Buddie fanvids and I was a major Buddie shipper but the last couple seasons killed that for me. I'm loving Buck with Tommy, I hope it really goes somewhere.
Tommy and Buck are cute alright... but it's not buddie. Buddie has chemistry, buddie is family. This shiny new thing is a trinket compared to that. None of the history, shared trauma, bonding, electricity, good and bad moments. True romance is souls connecting. This is lips connecting. Not the same.
i never got the romantic vibes from Buck and Eddie either. They just seem like really great friends and almost like brothers. Honestly, didn't even realize people were shipping them until recently. Absolutely love Buck with Tommy though. They are very cute together.

@@Luckylife14buck called tommy to get the tour on his workplace last episode. He probably had to leave his full name at the desk or whatever. I mean, sometimes you have to introduce yourself by your full name, even when you prefer a last name nickname.

Tommy’s reaction to his coffee was giving me serious David Rose from Schitt’s Creek vibes and I’m actually thankful for that because it added a small moment of lighthearted humor to an already beautiful and poignant scene. I am really looking forward to watching these two characters grow and discover new feelings together. And dance! Who’s excited for THAT to happen!😂
I really really want Buck and Tommy to be in a relationship. We've seen Buck hook up and have brief flings before. Plus, the two serious relationships he was in, we all knew they weren't meant to last, so I need this to be different.
No, but the way Tommy recognises that this is Buck’s first time going out with a man and not wanting to push him or out him cause he struggled with his own coming out journey and didn’t have supportive people around. And then there’s buck who took like 1 day to come to terms with this new part of himself and is fully ready and share it with the world. It’s so adorable.
I have only recently started watching this show and it was this storyline that brought me in. I actually bought the first six seasons on the strength of the RU-vid clips I've seen of Buck and Tommy, they seem really adorable and I'm excited to see where they go.
I love Buck and Tommy and I hope they are endgame. Their relationship has a lot of tension and I honestly feel that Buck loves or at least has honest interest in Tommy, in a romantically way. And don’t get me wrong, I see Buck and Eddie as soulmates, but in a more platonic sense. I love it when two adult men are each others family without all the romance, and if we are honest, Eddie is 100% straight. We see that threw out the series and it is especially noticeable when Buck told him about Tommy. And when it comes to Buck, we can see that he has some sort of interest in Eddie but I would not say that it is the same way as with Tommy (romantically), but more as he loves him like family.
Every guy who likes dudes knows what it's like to be around a guy you can't have and really want. Ultimately, you just move on. However, whether there is ever anything more between Buck and Eddie is firmly in the hands of if that storyline makes more money than this one. Nothing is ruled out. Even if they tell you it is, revenues actually rule.
