I have an idea for your soaker hose / hand watering idea: start planting at the faucet end. get one of those small ratchet clamps from harbor freight. you know the ones you squeeze the "trigger" and they tighten, and have rubber jaws? You could pinch off the hose at the end of your planted section pretty gently without damaging the hose
Hello George, the year we planted watermelon we had so much, glad the youth group was active. We shared them with the kids. Learning experience. Glad the peanut plant is looking good. Our season should be coming to an end soon too. I didn’t plant the snake gourds this year 💕NonnaGrace
