Spartan highlights from MSU's 38-17 win against the #24 Miami Hurricanes. The Spartans were led in the game by Payton Thorne, Kenneth Walker III, Jalen Nailor, and Jayden Reed.
Sad that Reed transferred from my WMU Broncos (but I’m a diehard MSU fan) but this 1-2 combo with Nailor brings me back to the Keshawn Martin and BJ Cunningham days. Exciting guys with solid hands and speed. Not to mention Hayward has transitioned nicely to TE and Walker is just a stud. O Line needs some better opening starts but I see Thorne progressing nicely and the team is making solid adjustments in game too.
I've been a Spartan Fan since 3rd grade and I haven't been this excited about Michigan State football since the days of Kirk Cousins and then Connor Cook. Kenneth Walker III is an absolute beast. Go Green!!!
All they need in East Lansing is the right coach and there will be no stopping Michigan State. Mark Dantonio was good but got burned out and lost games at times he should have won and never had 5 star talent . We will see what happens
@@Spontaneousanonymous000 wolverines have a good chance of losing Ohio state is always gonna be on a a different level though so I’m just hoping for a 10-2 to 11-1 season
@@seanwalters1977 I thought MAYBE 5 wins. I'm not expecting quite as many wins as you but I'll definitely be happy with 7-9 wins. A 10 win season would make Tucker national coach of the year if that happened. No contest. So I definitely hope you're correct.
@@grumpypoof9648 A winning season with a bowl game is more than ok in my book. The trouble games I see for this team is PSU and OSU. I don't think they'll win those. Maryland and Indiana will be trap games for them I think. They will probably have one or two losses against teams they should have beaten but I hope I am wrong! Regardless this program is way further along than I and pretty much everyone else expected. Excited to see what the future holds for this rapidly growing program.
@@seanwalters1977 I also predicted 6-6 with 7-5 being possible. They are off to a great start, but the harder teams come later in the schedule. So far, I am very pleased with the Coaching and Player performances.
@@seanwalters1977 I'm still wondering about scUM. Are they really good? Or are they just beating the shit out of horrible teams? I hope Paul stays in East Lansing for another year.
Most underrated win of the season. The way MSU dominated in the 4th quarter was a spectacle. Master Class by Thorne, Walker and Reed with 0 turnovers. Defense played lights out.
This is literally the teams motto never overlook a team rn we’re still 0-0 this team is different we’ll be prepared and idk if a night game at home with the strip out is a trap game
I wouldn't be to concerned about it. Tucker said they wanted to play soft coverage most of the game. The Miami receivers are so fast and athletic that MSU was fine giving up a bunch of 8-9 yard catches rather than giving up huge plays over the top.
Tucker has Thorne, Walker III, Reed, Nailor & Heyward playing like they can compete on the national stage. Shout out to the O-Line and Defense (Henderson & Pietrowski). This season the BigTen Championship, next season the National Championship. Go Green!
Chill out buddy. Nebraska has me nervous. Not to mention we still don't know if scUM is the real deal or not. I can't tell because they are beating the shit out of crap teams it looks like. As Spartan fans we should only look at the upcoming opponent. Not to weeks, months, or years ahead. But yes the future does look bright.
Watching the game live and then again walker obviously looks amazing and better when you can go back and fourth and watch his vision and explosion but damn Heyward looks good blocking and getting screens dudes so underrated
Our pass defense looked so much better in this game and earlier in the season. The talent is there no doubt, we just need everybody healthy for a full season.
Imagine Vegas had the MSU under 4 games this season n proof the 1st 3 games all wins 2 on the road idk if anyone paying attention to the big ten but MSU could surprise some teams
Miami WR Rambo left the Sooners to play closer to home…….I hope he’s happy when he realizes he left a potential playoff team to a Hurricane team that looks lost.
