My experience at brownstown speedway.....all the top drivers gave autographs and interacted with the fans..... Billy Moyer was no where to be found! I got Scott’s, Boggs, Freddie’s! Unfortunately I can only cheer on one of those now!!
I heard that from a friend who tried to get his autograph , he snubbed him and his son . It's sad when people get a big head and dont care about fans .
Sometimes when your trying to Win and shit doesn't go right.. You tend to be a little non-social.. Been around Moyer at the Races for 40 years and he has never been rude..
Earl Baltes would have enjoyed this one. I would like to think so, anyway. Not too much enjoyment, though. Not so good ol' Tony Stewart is known to throw a Helmet, in someone's general direction, for lesser things. Either way; thank you, Racing On Dirt, for sharing this Classic.
