Her Dirt Racing is better but last week she had a good race as well. Maybe she just better in the SRX series. I think it is showing that she is having more fun in the SRX series and more relaxed then the truck series. @@rodneycaupp5962
Context: The feature race lacked any competitiveness for two reasons. First, there was little passing done ALL night by anyone, except Stewart and Schrader before he encountered trouble. Ergo, you finished within one or two places starting position. Race management and passing skill contributed little to where you finished. Second, the number of cars on the track racing for position in the feature was slightly more than half the field. Ergo, there were even fewer battles for position than the number of cars on track reflected. Did she drive her backup car well? Yes, to her credit. Does it mean she deserves all the accolades and praise she has and will receive? Certainly not. Should the fact my pointing out that her second-place finish does not reflect that her driving prowess has, at last, emerged classify me a "hater", as many of the patellar-knee-reflex comments here already show? No. I merely assess the race results in context to the specific factors during the race as well as against the season as a whole. Do I provide a perfect analysis? No. Neither do those for whom her second-place finish tonight proves their point.
While you have the right to your opinion I strongly disagree with you. True there was not a lot of passing and Tony dominated. But what do you expect from his track? Also as you said half of the field was taking out early in that wreck. Also I do think that Hailee deserves all the credit she has been getting. She raced Second and battled Tony when nobody else did in the entire race. In a back up car like you said. Secondly last week she went toe to toe with Kyle Busch and Brad Kesloski. Big boy Cup players that are in the top of the playoff race. She is improving a lot the last two weeks. And she is more comfortable in this series then the Truck series which is a terrible series mind you. @@michaellavin6417

Tracy was always nothing but a liability to the SRX and it’s great that they finally listened and kicked him out (for now, who knows what happens in the future, maybe Paul even changes his behavior and comes back as a nice person with clean racing?)
And I guess that I am the only one who, heard the conversation with Joey and Allen the announcers telling, that Deegan was second to Tony at, Nashville, lowa on Tuesday night as well

This Great coverage of SRX has brought my desire to watch a race, way back up. SRX and Thursday night Thunder is a savior of racing. It sure ain't NAStyCar, thank God. Miss Hailie Deegan in second ... Priceless ! Very nice watching Tony destroy the field to take all 3 races.

Don't forget Ron Capps is not a first timer on dirt he did run in most of if not all the preludes to the dream here at eldora in a latemodel. For a funny car champ he has adapted pretty good on dirt.
I’m always excited to talk about SRX. I love Matt Kenseth in there. He was fun to watch. He really sounds very ecstatic in SRX. You can tell Kenseth loves to race against the best in the world.

In the 60s, my school buddy’s dad raced sprints at eldora,ft recovery,celina. Every weekend it was another race.if it came down to a loaf of bread or a gallon of gas,it would be gas.the big money eventually won out. All the small guys, that made it interesting, dropped out.that’s when I did too.

Briscoe is a heck of dirt driver - didn't get a chance to show it. Not sure anyone beats Smoke last night - he knows these cars and Eldora and it showed.
Deegan absolutely ripped tonight once she got up there she was the only one who could come consistently within a second of Tony, but yet again we get another classic ass whooping from Smoke
Maybe she needs to get into dirt racing because she isn't going anywhere in NASCAR. She's in top equipment in the truck series and wrecks on a weekly basis.

@@BellaElaineVocals So me stating facts makes me a hater? She has the same average finish in trucks as Natalie Decker. Look at 20 yr old Ty Gibbs. Won an ARCA and an Xfinity championship is in Cup and right at the cut line (16th) for the playoffs in his rookie season.

I love the srx even though I don't watch it live I always end up watching it on RU-vid but I wish they would add more races to the season 6 is just to short I understand it's a summer series and they don't want to be like nascar witch seasons are 10 months long but I'd love to see somewhere around 10-15 races and have 18-20 drivers for every race... I KNOW I KNOW they say it's been very Expensive having to fix the wrecked cars every week and having back up cars for all the drivers but next season that cost should drop a good bit now they have kicked out MR.WRECK EM ALL CAUSE I SURE AS HELL CANT WIN
NASCAR pissed Tony off when they took Cup to Bristol to race on dirt. He had been trying to get a Cup race at Eldora for years. So he told them no more truck races.
The heat races were carried on ESPN 2, that's why I didn't get a recorded on RU-vid TV ... Luckily I had tuned in just before the race and found that out
Helluva job! You could've engraved this weeks trophy last week cause we all knew it - But how about Hailie! 2 weeks in a row staring at Ryan's bumper but she got him this time. So was Tony going easy at the end there? Made it look like Hailie was his best competition from last to 2nd in a car that didn't fit. She keeps having that look like she needs to be in a car but she's really good slinging mud.
Thanks for the uploads man! Do they broadcast their races in only 720p or is this just what you are recording it in? I don’t dare to ask for 1440p or even 4K, but at lest 1080p aka full hd would be really nice and not so janky to watch on bigger screen than my iPad. Would’ve lovely to watch those races on the living room tv, but with the quality of 720p it just looks bad on a 65“ 4K screen that’s only one couch table away..
Here to post props to Hailee for her effort, determination, and cool stature of being involved in a wreck which wasn't in any way her fault and then switching to a back up car and taking second in the feature race. I post this because while I have been following her from time to time during her racing I haven't been totally taken with her ability and have even posted a few harsh comments along the lines of 'she should focus more on driving and less on social media.. etc etc'. I would like to whole heartedly apologize for this and continue to wish her the best in her career. She really showed tonight that when given the opportunity, she can really drive her heart out. Also, I feel with Tracy gone from this series, she's been running better and feels more relaxed in the car with not having to deal with him.
If Hailie can drive and compete with the competition in these SRX races, she can definitely compete with the tools in the truck series. The difference in her running better these last couple of SRX races has been that Paul Tracy wasn't in them to take her out. She can race hard against other drivers knowing they'll drive her clean. She needs to move up to xfinity where there's more respect and talent cause that truck series ain't it.
Jeeeeeeez, they thought they had alot of cars to fix after Paul Tracy's "incident" when he sandwiched Josef into the wall, they have to work on almost EVERY car but Tony Stewart's.

I think if Deegan wasn't so Busy with everything in her Life, she could consistently finish in the top 10 in Nascar. She's made a massive Brand for Herself, but with that it takes a lot of her time and focus away from just Racing Nascar! We all know unless Your Ken Schrader or Kenny Wallace You can't race forever So her Brand will be her Means. She is one hell of an Entrepreneur and also a talented race car driver! Good for Her!!
If she loses that Tool BF of hers she will achieve great things. He is an immature little punk who clearly shows in their videos that he is constantly involving her in childish activities when she should be left alone to focus on her driving career. He drags her down making her buy and pay for all these little toys so he can race and play little games all the while when her should be supporting her racing career and just be the camera guy.. Hailie is loaded with talent and needs to be around better people.. And that's NOT him !
