Your great variety of movements are so cool. I've been incorporating them into my Capoeira and movement workouts and am amazed how it has affected other sports like basketball and sprinting. I'd like to workout with you. I live in Eugene, Oregon.
I am 1,95 cm tall and weight 105 kg (6'4" and 231 lbs), what is the best way to get started in order to do these complicated exercises (animal walks, animal jumps, knee jumps etc)??? And please also emphasize on how to improve on strength on your higher body, lower body and core.
the starfish is probably the most difficult to execute, really awesome badass and very advanced bodyweight movement, i think the chest and shoulder get supreme activation, and in the lower body the abducters get tremendous work, all in all a fantastic exercise
Your techniques, strength and mobility are outstanding! It also takes mind and body coordination to execute your moves, you have a strong body and mind, congratulations for an amazing outcome! I'm wondering will your online course 20xx movement help a beginner?
This video should definitely make to youtube's Trending section. Crab jumps were sort of asking for multiple injuries rest was Superb would maybe in the future add on to my workout.
How do you land seemingly so lightly on your feet? What is your technique to not end uo slamming down on your feet, but rather having that smooth transition you do ?
how long u ve been doing these moves? its awesome no doubt. i agree they all improve immensely on strength ,cardio fitness mobility..but y did it take us so long to discoverthese moves and why in this modern world wud we need to again adapt when modernisation doesnt permit in terms of space location,,,,,i wonder where to practice.....n we dont apply anyways coz v r no more hunters unlike,,,,,,
could you post a video about reps for body weight training EX: if you are trying to get big or shredded & the reps when training for static holds ( i wont to know every thing about reps & the rest time in between please ) ALSO when you are doing body weight training is it better to do full body training every day ? or every day for a different muscle group like what the do in the gym like body builder THANK YOU :)
+ahmad helal As a general rule, 1.5-2 minutes of rest between sets is perfect for muscle building, you can take longer rest periods for serious strength work(like 3-5 minutes). It depends on personal genetics, but the repetitions between 3 and 8 build muscle just fine. 1 to 3 repetitions is excellent for strength. In the beginning, full body training or upper/lower body split is the most effective way to workout but eventually you can do push/pull or body parts splits.
+Vahva Fitness thanks alot that really helped but is it ok to do push ups , pull ups , squats and dips every days only body weigh training ( talking about muscle recovery )
+ahmad helal It's possible and can be good in a short term but in a long term it becomes less productive. I'd recommend working out every other day that way.
They will build strength and muscle very well, but you build mass the best when the drills are combined with slow tempo mobility / bodybuilding exercises.
Hi Vahva. Thank you for your answer! Could you give one example of what you mean please? I recently got my back injured and can't do a lot more than this, which I love though and was already trying to replace crossfit for it. Thanks!
