*UPDATE AS OF SEPTEMBER 2023* (APPROX 18 MONTHS AFTER VIDEO) To be completely transparent with you all, the SGB has absolutely no bearing on my life today. Like how i feel today i couldn't tell you if i had it or not. I still struggle with mental health problems but i am doing ok. And with that being said, it DID provide me some relief at the time (as it evident with this video which captured my 100% authentic feelings at the time of recording) which made that time easier to get through. If you are thinking of getting one, go in to it with a realist attitude and don't put it on a pedestal: yes it may provide some relief but to expect it to be the miracle cure to all your problems and allow you to live a happy life free of problems or flare ups forever is unlikely (but not impossible i suppose) I hope this helps and i wish you all the best of luck :-)

When you first got it did it help you lower your anxiety medication?
@kpc1776

Liam this video has provided encouragement to a lot of people. If you get a chance to read the studies from Drs. Sean Mulvaney and James Lynch (main researchers in this arena) or watch the videos from "the Stellate Institute" they talk about dual site, C4 and C6, bilateral injections being more effective. Additionally they talk about repeat treatments being used over time to refresh the results. I'd encourage you the watch these and think about repeat treatments as well as incorporating diet, lifestyle as well as other approaches for depression, anxiety and PTSD. SGB can open the door to modalities, such as therapy, medications and TMS that may have failed in the past.

Might be good to combine this procedure with other therapy methods. Recommend either Syrian rue tea, MDMA assisted therapy, Ketamine therapy, or an Ayausca journey. On its own the neve block temporarily interrups the physical positive feedback loops that hold you at the event horizon of despair, the other therapies mentioned help the mental health end of it. ❤

Great to see someone from the UK talking about this. I have only just learnt about this treatment tonight and like wow I am absolutely desperate to try it as my anxiety and deep fear has been running rampant for three months and I am hoping it is not going to bankrupt me as I suspect there is no way I could get an NHS referral. But what is life without ones health, even just an ability to have a decent nights' sleep would be a godsend, but thank you for the content and cannot believe i've never heard of this before.

I can relate to your story in so many ways. I was outgoing and fairly extroverted. I could talk to almost anyone And I had a genuine love for life and a lot of confidence in my abilities. In April of 2021 my appendix ruptured and I underwent general anesthetic for the operation for the first time in my life at 33 years old. Nothing was the same after that. I developed anxiety and depression like I never had before. It stopped me from talking to people I had known for years. Even feeling uncomfortable around my own parents. There would be long episodes (days/weeks) of depersonalization. I just wanted to hide from the world and became very suicidal. The brain fog was so bad I could hardly put sentences together. Ketamine got me out of a particularly suicidal state, but the effects were temporary. I am also trying to arrange TMS treatments, even if it can reduce the cognitive impairment I would be greatful. I've been on several medications to no avail. As backwards as it may sound, its comforting to know that there are others like you who struggle with some of the same issues. I've watched most of your uploads and they have definitely inspired me to keep looking for a way through the despair. I look forward to more videos. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

I’ve been on SSRIs since I was 13 years old. And it’s only recently that I’ve come to realize that I have actually been suffering from CPTSD. Because my parents were nice (my narcissistic mother certainly reminded us of that all the time) and the abuse came from an older sibling, I just blocked the idea that I could be affected by the years of abuse at all, and when people would tell me that over and over again that I sure did seem like someone who had suffered some kind of trauma, that I had all of the symptoms of a person who had experienced long term sustained trauma, I would scoff and say that’s ridiculous, I had a wonderful perfect childhood with all of my needs met, as that’s what I had been told over and over again. It’s only recently after my Dad passed and my Mother went on and on and on about how relieved she is to not have the burden of his illness anymore, and how much money it’s going to save her, and how she can now live off of his pension blah blah blah, and all of my other siblings agreeing that she’s in the right to have taken him off of his life saving cancer medication in order to be able to buy herself a nice camper so she can have fun vacations with my brother, and then my Dad died a couple of weeks after what, well I finally realized how much of a dysfunctional and miserable family I had been living in my entire life. And that yes, all of those years of depression and derealization I experienced as a tween and teen, I was experiencing not because I was trying to make my Moms life difficult (as she claimed I was,) but because I was living with a narcissist and a dysfunctional neglectful family. Anyway, I really appreciate these videos and am going to find a physician who administers this treatment. Please keep updating and letting us all know how it’s going. It’s so important! Thank you!

I have never heard of the term "CPTSD"before until today. After doing some research online, I realize my condition is exactly CPTSD! My depression was successfully cured, but still left me with unstable emotion, bad memory flashback and daydream. I'm unable to feel connection with pets, and I have never had relationship.

I've been dealing with MDD which has catastrophicly damaged my life and career. I'm constantly worried that even if I get cured, there always is the possibility of it relapsing and me not being able to control it. This second time that it happened to me I already had been under medication which leaves me over frustrated..

Thanks mate, I can certainly relate. SGB has been an absolute game changer for not just me, but my wife and kids too. I don't have nightmares, and all they include, now. We're finally starting have sustainable periods of recovery and progress; to begin making coping methods habitual. The Lord Jesus clearly led me to SGB too; as although I also have 'wanted out' I knew if I insisted on getting better He would guide me somehow. We're all stronger then everything we have had to endure, or we wouldn't have got to right now! Keep going friends. The room might be too dark to see your own fingers, but when you find the light switch you will realise you always had the access and resource to illuminate your life.

From the research I've done, it sounds like DSR/SGB is like hitting the reset button, calming the amygdala in order for the person to have a chance at creating new neural pathways by implementing new habits (through meditation/CBT/DBT) that help rewire the brain...Has that been anyone's experience?
