I started out at a community college then transferred to a 4yr, save a ton of money that way. Can also look to add different certifications to the resume depending on your career field.

Always told my students that one of the best ways to break out of the poverty cycle is to invest in education. Great way to earn net worth and a high paying job by investing in schools and education. Community college and online courses are very helpful and cost effective for those that can't afford the formal education. Thanks for sharing another informative video!

These are awesome tips. It’s definitely a different mind set when you have an emergency fund and can help with any cash gaps. Also getting more educated is an amazing investment. That’s what’s awesome about RU-vid, Coursera or other courses that you can take for free!
I can tell you from experience these habits really do work to help you overcome poverty. I also think coming from a place of poverty makes it easier to take risks because when you have nothing to lose then you can really try many different things to increase your income (#6).
I have seen friends making nice 6 figures go into massive debt because they spend way too much than they earn. Living below your means is so important.
