I recently discovered that the fuse for my slide out is the same one labeled range hood. My rv is a 20 year old cougar with a small dinette slide out 15amp fuse.
One minor tip on those blown 12 volt fuses....the LED will only light if a switch or circuit was previously in operation/ standby ( left on before the fuse blew) . You may need to identify the circuit which is not working and put the switch in the ON position before the LED illuminates. Best to go through your rig and make an extensive chart of what works on each branch powered by each individual fuse before the problems start. Keep it handy or tape it to the cover panel. IT TAKES OUT PLENTY OF GUESS WORK LATER ! the RV Prepper Jim K
James Krivitsky You seem to know some stuff about electrical I plugged in my Nissan leaf electric car to the outside 110 and overloaded the system I guess because every circuit 110 outlet shut down only one of them or one of the GFCI outlet was able to be reset the other one in the back room was not able to the light is still on but when I push the button it does not reset do you have an idea what I should do

Outlets went dead. I had thought I blew a fuse only to find the wires in the generator box I had open while parked were cut. Will find a way to hook up to shore or run generator with doors locked.
Hi... How easy is ot to remove the panel? I have mice. I think they could be behind the panel because I have seen em come up from the rear back burner on stove top... No acces panel there on the outside. I want to see in there and possibly use pest block if I find a hole/entry point back in there.
our converter ( a 55) fried today. literally. we wanted to move everything (it's all separate components) from the floor to a new location on the wall near the ceiling in the same corner and thought about getting a "power center" to house everything. How do you choose which one to get?
I have a 1994 southwind 33' my inside lights went off from the bathroom to the bedroom i find the fuse bix but no ene says inside lights , is it together with another thing fuse
I hooked my battery up backwards and now it isn't changing when hooked to land line. The 12v stuff lights , awning, and radio only works if it's plugged into land line or the power core is hooked to the vehicle. My power converter box looks just like that one no fuses blown 2018 Jayco 145rb
Have a Question for you. I have a Four Winds 36ft camper. My plug outlet works to the box. Runs my fridge and plug ins. But I keep replacing my battery. If my battery is good. Runs my lights and Air conditioner. Till the battery is bad or I have recharge it. Do you think my Converter is bad. And needs to be replaced? I appreciate any advice you might have.
question. i have installed as Tristar 45 Amp solar charge controller, hooked up to 500 Watts Solar Panels and installed a 2000 Watt Samlex Inverter in my RV. SO how do i disconnect my battery charger in my RV Converter when i plug my Shore Power Cord into my Inverter?
