Check out our new video about iPhone settings you need to turn off now, updated for iOS 15: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LxdoC2sG1i4.html
Hi folks great video. Question: Settings, privacy, Analisys and improvments, Data analysis. I want to delete all those from all my iphones. Real solutions?
Really enjoyed this video this is pretty cool the train is an upgrade on our cell phones so much bullshit out there it’s really good at this guys like you guys to clean it up thank you so much
I like this, too, but you go way too fast for me. I’m 73 - can you slow down. I had to keep stopping and starting, but then this is probably not for me. While I eventually caught everything, can you suggest a similar site for us old broads? I really do like the site, but like I said, honestly I’m too slow for you youngins. Thanks.
My phone has literally been dying within like an HOUR of leaving my house, I have to have it plugged in CONSTANTLY. Even if I’m not using it and it comes unplugged while I’m asleep, I’ll wake up and it will be 💀 So thankful for this, guys! Liked & Subscribed 👍🏼
Yeah it maybe cus you have a charger that isn’t an iPhone official one cus obviously apple are nasty and make phone so they need to be charged by buying one of theirs and not a cheaper one
I just switched to an iPhone from android and you guys are saving my life getting to know the inns and outs of my new phone!! Thank you a million times! Subscribed and shared!
This info is great, I own a construction company and use my phone for calls and onsite data all day long. Most days my phone won’t make it through the whole day. My phone is fairly new. After doing all of these recommendations, I’m on 2 full days of use and still at 67% battery. Wow, what a difference. Thank you for this video and the information that you put out there.
Found you by mistake and so glad I did! I kept playing and pausing just to update my iPhone step by step as you guys spoke! Definitely subscribed! And forwarded this to my iPhone friends and fam! Thank uuuu
This video is awesome. I normally hate video instructions, much preferring written step-by-step lists that I can print out and save for future use. But this one-time instruction set could not have been explained as clearly without a video. And Dave and Dave’s combined use of words and videos actually made the directions easy to understand by people like myself who grew up before the advent of computers. By pausing the video to perform each step, I was able to complete each step successfully. I also appreciated the fact that they explained the reasons WHY one might choose to follow or not to follow their recommendations on many of the steps. There were several steps where my particular circumstances (such as considerable international travel) yielded a differed choice than theirs’ and they had explained that this might be true for many people on numerous particulars. They give their listeners credit for intelligence even if we aren’t high-level computer pros.
I mean.. this was easily the most useful video I’ve watched in I don’t know how long. And I clicked on it so haphazardly! Just one of those situations where I happened to be walking by. Toggling buttons on my phone to the ‘off’ position is a very satisfying thing. Thanks for the education 😌
Found this pop up as recommended and glad I found it. I didn’t know any of this or how to do it. So thanks so much. I’ve done everything you suggested and sorted my phone out
I just viewed my 1st video for the first time & hit subscribe before it was done.....Guys you 2 are the best. You were detailed, clear, directly to the point WITHOUT getting all technical BUT MOST OF ALL, you were NOT "BORING" 10 THUMBS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mean! You guys are gems. I click on your page whilst searching for something else and I was captivated by your explanation. I follow every step and for some reason I feel so relief. Thanks a million.
new to iphone, took your suggestions and the phone actually cooled down noticeably while turning all these off!! Thanks a bunch, I imagine a lot of battery was burning needlessly.
Best technical video I have seen for a while. It contains reasoning which is easy to follow and makes sense. And the battery saving was actually noticeable. Thanks, gentlemen.
Thanks so much. Although I had turned off a lot of the settings, there were some I left on because I didn't know what they were. I appreciate your explanations.
Outstanding! I saw parts of this video once, got busy with something else, and then couldn't remember who posted it. I was desperate to find you again, and happily, here you are! I found you by accident, just like the first time, but I am subscribing so as not to lose you again. Very succint and easy to follow instructions. Thak you so much for helping me save battery life!
i Just subscribed , I have an I phone 8 plus, I followed u step by step , you two were perfectly clear in voice and step by step showing everything , I for one appreciate it , thank you
Wow, like many others, I found you guys by mistake. I’ve never seen such a thorough tutorial that caters to ‘slow learners’, if you get my drift...I’m so impressed that I’m subscribing and joining your low tier plan...you guys are better geniuses than the Apple ones. 😂 Thx for creating this channel!
Great video though I need to point out that topic #2 system services some of those items need to stay on if you have Apple Watch. Motion and calibration is necessary for the workout app on the watch. Also location based alerts is necessary if you use reminders to remind you of something when you arrive at or leave a place. After following the video suggestions I was having trouble with my watch and reminders and discover that these needed to be on.
What “other” ones are you referring to Lisa? I’m rather new to the latest Apple Watch and technology challenged due to brain injury so I don’t want to cause myself any stress. It’s crazy how in my life I was a business underwriter and administrative assistant to the provost at our university an now at only 55 their are days I want to throw my phone and watch in the lake (I don’t even bother with a computer anymore). So these type of videos are a godsend for me as are the helpful comments like yours. Thank you all. 🤗
Thanks a lot ! Although I turned off most of the stuff you listed, I totally missed system services. Didn’t know it has this many buttons there that are not necessary. Thanks
Brilliant - very clear instructions. I had to keep ‘pausing’ while I found the right place but job well done. Thank you guys, gonna tell all my friends.
Found you while scrolling. Just acquired a new iPhone. Just about did "every" suggestion. I know good advice when I hear it. Thanks. Oh, my wife is now busy going through her Android as per you advice. Good job guys.....Dave
Great hack!!! I turned all these things off. Then I was listening to music on various streaming services for 7 hours straight and the battery hardly drained!!!! This is awesome
That was SO helpful I want to thank you! I’m hoping this helps my phone speed up. I did have half these settings already done but I appreciate this video very much and wanted to thank you!
These two are awesome! They always make everything so clear and easy to understand! Thank you for NOT speaking like I’m a recent MIT graduate, because I’m not. And thank you for understanding that even though I don’t have a degree from MIT, I still need to understand the basics of the technology I use.
Thanks so much, Karen. I think what helps us not speak like MIT grads is that neither of us graduated from MIT - nor would we have been accepted had we applied. :) Actually, David L. probably would have been... :-)
This was great. Didn't realize how much stuff I had turned on. Almost everything. Followed you and turned a lot of things off. Thanks so much for your help. I'm a subscriber now !!!!!
Thank you🤜🏽🤛🏽🎉! I initially was inquiring on how a video to show me how to transfer back my important emails to automatically go to my inbox (as in the past) and not my junk or spam mail. I stumbled on this and decided watch the entire video. Now I am also going to save my battery life and have more privacy, Thanks to you! 🙏🏽 Sharing your video! On the other hand, I’m still very confused on why my important daily mail is still going straight to my junk mail🤷🏽♀️. Really appreciate all of your step by step info. If by any chance you are able to demonstrate on an iPhone 13 how to transfer and keep important mail in your inbox and junk mail with junk I’d be so grateful 🎉.
Thank you so much for this extremely valuable easy to follow tutorial. I have followed your videos after purchasing a newer version iPhone and/or installed Apple’s latest updates. Big thumbs up!!!
Thank you! What a great public service! Happy to report I had everything already turned off except for personalized ads, which I must’ve missed on accident because I could’ve sworn it was already off. (I subscribed and liked) ; )
I had some features off like it’s mentioned in the video, and I still get ads. I just have one app on and I can’t believe how much this one app listens to you. Very helpful video, thank you
For old coots like my husband and me, you spoke way too fast. BUT we found the GEER and slowed you down. We were laughing so hard because you sounded drunk, that we still missed what you were saying. I think we FINALLY got it all! Thanks!
Super helpful! Thought I’d done most of this, but I’d missed “System Services” and a couple of others. The way you show the navigation from section to section is great. Stuff keeps being renamed and moved, making some settings difficult to find and customize. Thanks. Subscribed. 🥰
Those are great settings to adjust. The best thing is to disable cellular when you are not using it or needing it. Also disable Bluetooth unless you have an Apple Watch or connect your phone to your vehicle. When you charge your phone, make sure Bluetooth and Internet connectivity is turned off so that way it charges faster. When you were not needing to use it at all and don’t expect any phone calls, you should put your phone on airplane mode.
I have 3 kids, my phone will never be on airplane mode unless I am on an airplane. But I’ve noticed that when I turn off Bluetooth or Cellular Data, it’s like “ok, turning it off til tomorrow”. LIE. It’s right back on the next time I look at it. So idk what to do about that?
Just upgraded from an i5 (I know, but I loved it) to an iSE, and was wondering what I should turn off ... and you two showed up in my RU-vid recommendations. How cool is that!! ... liked and subscribed! :)
Excellent video. Clear and for a technical topic, amusing. Showing how to navigate to the various settings was helpful. I just implemented all their suggestions and shared this with friends.
If you click on the 3 little buttons on the top right hand corner of the video and click the “Playback speed” button you can control how fast or slow the video will play. I find it really helpful sometimes.
Be aware with analytics and improvements that selecting the top option can hide the remaining selections but leave them on. My iPhone did this with Siri specifically.
Not even done watching the video and I already subscribed. My battery life is currently 3 hours or so... and now I know why, most of the stuff you guys said to turn off was on. I was even going to go buy a new battery and I'm so glad I watched this video first! Thank you guys so much!
Thank you. I watched your other video (7) and now turned off more stuff with this. My iPhone 12 loses battery life, so I’m grateful for this! I subbed, too!
I blindly followed your instructions, but now you need to make a video for people traveling to other countries, so we can find these again… to turn them on!! Lol😂
Thank you, this was great. I've been an android user forever. Now...I have this iphone and have no idea what I am doing. Now, I know a little more. I "liked" and also subscribed!
Hi, you guys are genius, i have been using apple devised for many years and never noticed what you mentioned in that video, thanks a lot for such valuable infomraiton
